  • I WAS SHOWED THIS IN SCHOOL.

    LMAO

  • No blood comes when I eat Kit Kat!! ??? XD

  • Oes noes.. think of the people. They're so vulnerable that the shocking images will get to them. No wonder most people are spineless cowards that never do anything useful except criticize others and expect others to rescue them. If they think this is offensive, they should visit one of the meat processing factories that provide their food.

  • amazing vids guys lol xx <3

  • and still not as obnoxious as the real kit kat commercials : )

  • They've stopped about 18% now, but they hope to stop it completely in 2015....so I'll start eating KitKat in another 2 years Lol

  • YOU DAMN DIRTY APE!

  • Kit-Kats are monkey fingers? Well then,I'd love me monkey fingers right now!

  • You guys apparently think there are actually monkey fingers in Kit Kats. All you people saying "This is so sad.", don't understand public service announcements.

  • I will never look at a kit-kat in the same way again

  • IM WITH GREEN PEACE ALL THE WAY!!!

  • I found that in my KitKat, too..

  • That is so sad

  • God I hate this advert...

    But such a good message

    x

  • In the US, KitKat is owned by Hershey.

In other places in the world, Nestle owns it.

  • Hmm, "the livelihoods of local people" and "orangutans"..... Which seems more important here? And which was MADE to be more important... Something about this is done wrong... But, what?

I'm going to need my thinking glasses... Oh well I LOVE KIT KATS :D

  • @skoolfailures by "livelihoods of local people" I assume you mean the child slave labour that Nestle employ?

  • Every Ecoloser here should die.

  • Crunchy))

  • so did they stop using palm oil now ??

  • @mithuna27 they still use it but not from companies that destroy the rainforests?

  • oh my god thats so sad...

  • well that was repulsive.

    but a good message!

but kit kats belong to hershey don't they?

  • break me off a piece of that chimpance

  • @mordredt02 ok....enjoy the taste of blood you vampire :)

  • @Coolboy2755 I like vampires. Except the sparkly ones.

  • @Coolboy2755 You are aware that they don't use Palm Oil anymore, right? Retard.

  • @mordredt02 Ditto.

  • Go Greenpeace!!

  • High. Octane. Nightmare. Fuel.

  • @JanksterProductions That page sent me here too. *shudders*

  • Alright, this is a terrible video. I completely hate it. People should be pre-warned! This video contains very shocking images!!

  • @dars2607 you have no idea what shocking images are

  • @dars2607 Not really.

  • @dars2607 fuck you

  • @dars2607 shudda up! x

  • Made for a good cause and all but...

    Eep.

  • Wouldn't it be extra funny if the finger he bit was a middle finger? Yeah like FUCK YOU KIT KAT EATER!

  • I'm laughing my ass off right now while eating a nice crunchy delicious kit kat bar.

  • @firelord555 Trololol.

  • William Tone

  • The fact that these plantations were also accused of using slaves, stealing land and outright murdering people is barely mentioned in the little bit of media covering this issue. Of course, Nestle has been dealing with slave labor to purchase cocoa for years, so it's doubtful they'd let a few brutal human rights violations elsewhere get in the way of business.

  • @KryptnGaming haha, you took this quote straight from cracked dot com. that's the reason i went here. good quote though

  • Looks fucking tasty. Also humans only contribute to 3% of total carbon emissions, all 7 billion of us. lol fail peace.

  • goodd..... msg

  • Unfortunately, you cannot actually acquire conviniently packaged simian phalanges for the occasional stack in an ordinary setting.

  • Get a job.

  • Isn't palm oil fattening?

  • Yeah, see if the palm oil plantations were sustainable and didn't require the destruction of acres of rainforest and murder of hundreds of animals, I'd be totally cool with it.

  • KitKat stopped using palm oil because there's prolly not much rainforest left. They prolly use fish oil now:))

  • @oxygenromania They still use palm oil, they just don't buy it from destructive suppliers.

SOURCE: The annotation of this /watch?v=wf_VJgbzkFc&feature=related

  • wayy to go greanpeace.. i am always at ur back!!! :)

  • what did you make the finger out of?

  • WE SUPPORT GREEN PEACE! I'm So glad that they stopped using palm oil in Kit kats!! THEY ARE SO GOOD!

  • those look really good about now

  • If anything that made me want to buy more. Maybe they'll come out with a dolphin flavored Kit-Kat bar, yum.

  • This is why I give out to my friend who eats kitkats

  • By the way, Who'z that bored guy? He's so cute... ^^

  • Does no one see the marketing GENIUS of this? Nestle. Time for a new product. "Monkey Bars"

Kids will be climbing over each other to get one.

  • @tedward1986 lol."monkey bars".with banana flavor or something.

  • it's from my country.. the orang utans.... wow this video...

  • @necromaincer You guys, are U just jung man or big children?Didnt U leared that attention n love is not allways coming from outside? To feel good instead to push other people and manipulat them with unethic methods.

Life is not what partens says, tv, media. I feel n think. Thats the big travel. Otherhand you just move on the gound level, not inside. Is it possible that you most see the form but not the content?? Are U realy so cool, your hands could have blood on it n U dont see it??

  • @GreenDevilAngel

I'm sorry, I tried to read this.

I am sure there may have been a good point somewhere in that lot of grammatical error.

Nevertheless I am glad Greenpeace made this, Nestle is just terrible.

  • what other confectionery products use palm oil from Sinar Mas?

  • I threw up. Literally. No joke.

  • I am not doing nestle stuff anyway.... (same with coke and mc donalds)

and all the people who say that greenpeach suck or make fun of this thing.....well jst dont watch their videos and dont look at our planet and what the big companies (and also you) do to it...propbably you dont careanyway cuz "nothing is going to happen while i am alive" thats a fucked up attitude!

  • holy shit that scared me

  • the orangutans can eat the kitkat!!!

  • YOU SUCK, GREENPEACE!

  • @xaveir14 Such a low comment. Greenpeace did the right thing by attacking Nestlé to fuck off. They're harming the environment, so what Greenpeace did was good.

  • @xaveir14 you suck your mums cock

  • Wow i thought this was just a kit kat commercial!!! im eating a king size kit kat not gorilla!!!!

  • IM EATING A KING SIZE ONE NOW!!!! HEHEHEHEHEHE yum :)

  • @LivLaffSing

You really are a insensitive idiot.

  • @Mattmest Do you realy like it when others insult YOU???

Its not an argument, its just negative emotions!

  • @Mattmest Thankss[: You dont effect me at all just to let you know!!!!!

  • Fucking hell, now I'm hungry.

  • greatest ad campaign ever

  • The Greenpeace Nestlé Video "Have a break" is the winner of the Viral Video Award 2010!!! congrats :)

  • What people do is sick. I woulder how we would feel if animals started to distry our homes and plant trees?

  • That looked yummy to be honest.

  • Yes, because people would totally eat gorilla fingers...

  • man, kit kat commercials have gotten more and more annoying these days. glad to see something original and not one of those annoying people-eating-kitkats-to-the-tune-of-the-theme-song ads becau- OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK

Meh. Still a step in the right direction.

  • ... Is it bad that I laughed?

  • They already stopped using Indonesian palm oil from what I heard.

  • Um , shouldn't we care about cattles?

  • haha that was totally not what i was expecting

  • I am Indonesian, and I need every body's help to stop deforestation in Sumatra, Kalimantan, and West Papua. Thanks to GP for campaign. Many giant company there that control the Indonesian corrupt government. Rich is getting rich and poor is getting poorer. That is a fact what is going on in Indonesia.

  • I agree with greenpeace here, but mind you orangutan fingers are pretty damn tasty.

  • now I kinda want to eat an orangutan finger...looked like crab

  • mmmmmmmmmmm yum i mean thats not nicewink wink lol funny

  • good way to get the point across

  • dommage c'est bon

  • Okay, I get it, but this video was still a bit too gross.

  • disgusting..

  • @peanutbuttertami not as disgusting as mass deforestation

  • Just SAw this on TV, but was half so wathced again... its good good..

  • poor monkey homeless

  • @slowdazzles how can you maintain your reason when there are so many ignorant people who would rather berate greenpeace for metaphorically getting a point across. they choose not to realise that THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENS... indirectly but the effects are there.

Share you secret. How do you keep strong?

  • mmm bonne ap

  • ohh now I want a kit kat

  • this is funny, but also kinda sad. I think i signed the petition to to show products that use palm oil.

  • gut gemacht!!!

  • I fukin hate nestle their so curupted.

  • I think this video is put together well because it's affective and u need things like this to shock ppl. we need to help the orangutans!!!!

  • This video is cool because it is really affective and could get the message accross! We need to help the orangutans!!

  • they just go to far sometimes. ad how are they going to get the message across if they ae not allowed to show it!

  • i love kit kat =d

  • how increadibly distasteful. ok, it sort of gets the message across. but above all it makes me sick. make no mistake, I hate what some companies do to make more profit, but I cannot agree with a commercial such as this one.

  • @greatandfree You can't agree, yet it worked. Most people need shock value. This ad is proof. The Indonesia deforestation and Nestle's culpability is well documented and public knowledge. Efforts to bring attention/action to this was also done. These efforts were dismissed/rebuked/denied. Those trying to bring awareness were labeled alarmists. Shock tactics are neccessary in this politcal clime. People are more comfortable denying than acknowledging and taking action. Sad, but true.

  • @corbinmichael123 its very sad and very true. hard to have faith in people because of that. :(

  • I cant stop watching... o.o

  • oh gosh, every SINGLE time i eat a kit kat. i freaking remember this commecial and feel so sick.. and this is when i'm halfway though a freaking kitkat mind you.

  • I think it sends a GREAT message across STOP EATING KIT-KATs

  • @MrSnitzelMan I'd sooner cut my fucking hand off. Its not my fault that philthy phoreign phuckers wanna bladder their land.

  • If Greenpeace really wants to make a point, they should try being informative instead of making their vids so FUCKIN HILARIOUS!

That was seriously better than many recent MadTV/SNL sketches I've seen. But they missed the obvious joke:

The candy bar should have been "MonkeyFinger" with a Butterfinger font/color scheme. It's even owned by Nestle so they could do it! Still funny though.

  • @WarriorBoy would work in america not in the uk cause butterfinger doesnt exist there. and since its greenpeace uk, i guess this is the best they could do as kit kat is big there.

  • I keep watching it for the crunching sound. Sounds awesome.

  • Oh man, I so want an orangutan finger now. Damn it Greenpeace.

Alright, I do oppose the use of this palm oil and the damage it causes. But why did you have to make it look so delicious?

  • Cracked!

  • @Medinapolaris11 HELL YES

  • I thought only PETA did stuff like this? Greenpeace you too now?

  • Well now I know Greenpeace is just as insane as PETA.

    Another company/group to ignore. >.>

  • @BadgerDuh yea to hell with them.

and the animals plants and people that they are striving on behalf of... oh shit, that would include you and your family and your kids one day... we're all fucked i guess.

  • @paulbav your a loser!!

  • @buttfaceaaron i know. we all are.

  • That new candy bar looks delicious.

  • this made me buy more kit-kats, i love it!

  • PETA's got nothing on this!

  • kitkats are yummy

  • When Greenpeace convinced various African nations to not accept GMO foods during the Green revolution when they were on the verge of starvation, Greenpeace indirectly resulted in the starvation and deaths of millions of Africans.

Greenpeace isn't as stupid as even more radical organizations such as PETA, but they really need to moderate a lot of their positions.

  • Soo.. when i eat kitkats.. im actually eating orangutan fingers?

its this the point of this video?

  • @CptMyname Yep. (actually, not anymore since this campaign worked and the makers of kit kat agreed to stop using palm oil from deforested areas - so you're back to eating just plain old kit kats)

  • Fucking love kitkats...

  • So.. what chocolate is the best then to eat? I won't eat kit kats anymore..

  • Suddenly Kit Kat bars just became a whole lot more awesome.

  • wow really

  • Yummy!

  • @necromaincer they are known as the "Giant Fucking Douchebags" of the animal kingdom.

  • @necromaincer I heard that you're an asshole so mabye we should burn down your home.

  • @cleaningwiz I bet you heard it from the orangutan. Don't listen to him, he's just angry that I fucked his sister.

  • @necromaincer trolls be trollin'. besides you wont be laughing so hard when 3/4 of the trees on earth are gone and your all out of oxegen. 300 football fields per hour asshole!

  • @cleaningwiz HAHAHA nicely said!

  • @ManuKey25 thank you

  • Chocante, literalmente!!

  • oh wow I didn't realize that was a orangutan finger until the second time I watched this...e.O

  • Also try searching youtube for 'Henry Nastie' or 'Nestle baby milk marketing strategy explained'

  • that sounded... crunchy... e.O

  • @edenane Far from giving Greenpeace a bad name, the video prompted tens of thousands of people to contact Nestlé and demand a rethink of their policy on sourcing palm oil from destroyed rainforests - which they've now done. Would they have made any changes without that pressure - er, no, of course not. Sorry if the video offended you, but at least you now know what goes into making a KitKat.

Incidentally Nestlé's supplier, Sinar Mas, IS the worst offender in terms of Indonesian deforestation.

  • @GreenpeaceUK The fact that it prompted "tens of thousands" of people to contact Nestlé doesn't change the fact that it gives Greenpace a bad name. What's that, some kind of argumentum ad populum? Sure, it's a good cause, but Greenpeace obviously didn't feel that the cause was good enough for them to get their message across without using a cheap shot in the form of grotesque imagery.

  • @HeadphoneHalo how do you tell people that animals are being KILLED to help provide BIGGER profits for COMPANIES without telling them that we are EFFECTIVELY EATING those animals. cause thats what it is. The more you sugar coat something the easier it is for people to burry their heads in the sand.
