Efforts to bring attention/action to this was also done. These efforts were dismissed/rebuked/denied. Those trying to bring awareness were labeled alarmists. Shock tactics are neccessary in this politcal clime. People are more comfortable denying than acknowledging and taking action. Sad, but true.

Would they have made any changes without that pressure - er, no, of course not. Sorry if the video offended you, but at least you now know what goes into making a KitKat.

Incidentally Nestlé's supplier, Sinar Mas, IS the worst offender in terms of Indonesian deforestation.
