true, there is no direct proof, but there are a lot of things on earth, that are hard to explain otherwise. For example all the ancient structures like pyramids, stonehenge, huge drawings in south america. And don't forget the many discriptions and drawings on the walls of ancient structures. You can easilly prove he is not telling a sensible thing, because first of all he uses many imaginery statements such as "giant ship came..." he doesn't know that, he didn't see ship, he never encountered aliens himself etc so from that alone you can easily declare his other statements as based on imagination.
don't under estimate these statements just because they are theories. remember, our galaxy is mapped by using many methods and one of them is general theory of relativity. ...and gravity phenomenon is also a theory. so don't expect Daniken to put photos of aliens and their ships.

I believe that there was something really big before our time. That whatever was before probably had a violent and sudden end. That renmants of whatever existed spread all over the world but mostly concentrated in India, Egypt and the Caldean cultures, Tiahuanaco, etc. The Bible is just a recount of stories mostly from the Sumerian or Caldean and Egypt. Whatever they called gods, were just more technically advanced cultures, not spiritually. That's why we are acrewed up.

Well that is assuming that the craft had wheeled landing gear, and it seems that alien craft have some sort of pad on their gear, so that still makes the runway idea rather unnecessary.
The Baker, from what I understand the lines are ceremonial, but not for the desire to call back the aliens, but to call much needed rainfall. True this idea isn't quite as sexy as aliens, but it is closer to the truth.

Critism about his views on Nazca lines:
If N. was an alien airfield, it must've been a very confusing airfield, as it has giant lizards, spiders, monkeys, llamas, dogs, hummingbirds, etc., not to mention the zigzagging and crisscrossing lines and geometric designs. It was very considerate of the aliens to depict plants and animals of interest to the locals, even though it must have meant that navigation would be more difficult than a straight runway or a large clearing.

Well okay that would be an explaination... but there is a problem:
Highly advanced civilizations (i am comparing to ours) litter the world with renemants. But here we talk about absolutely rare exceptions. And that looks not even remotely right.

Not exactly: an advanced civilization use only biodegradable things, as said Rael (.org) in a TV show in Scotland: He took the example of the razor: before it was a big blade but now we use throw-away shavers, and this is only the beginning!

There is a theory that earth and some other planets in this galaxy are farms created by superior sentient beings and we -the lower sentient life- are the product, just like cows in a farmhouse.

Think about our Earth is 6 billion yo,there is a good possibility that we are just leftouts by uber-advanced ancient civilizations which were born right on Earth and they are our ancestors.The Atlantis was their homeland.But they had to leave Earth to join alien society as their civilization developed to some point.The Distruction of Atlantis self-staged when they left the Earth to us and join the Universe.

true, there is no direct proof, but there are a lot of things on earth, that are hard to explain otherwise. For example all the ancient structures like pyramids, stonehenge, huge drawings in south america. And don't forget the many discriptions and drawings on the walls of ancient structures. I also believe that the evolution of mankind has some sort of gap, as if it evolved from ape to humanoid overnight.

You can easilly prove he is not telling a sensible thing, because first of all he uses many imaginery statements such as "giant ship came..." he doesn't know that, he didn't see ship, he never encountered aliens himself etc so from that alone you can easily declare his other statements as based on imagination.

don't under estimate these statements just because they are theories. remember, our galaxy is mapped by using many methods and one of them is general theory of relativity. ...and gravity phenomenon is also a theory. so don't expect Daniken to put photos of aliens and their ships.
