He was never a truck, he became a winnebago when he opened the matrix. Also, he became Rodimus Prime, not Rodimus. They only call him Rodimus because they lost the trademark to the name Hot Rod. I'm just glad they didn't try to name him Hot Blast.

I thought that 'weapon' on his left arm was the saw blade he used in the film, but the back of the package lists a communication device that I couldn't find anywhere else. Perhaps that's it and explains why it wasn't painted silver.
