  • YOU BLACK

  • WOW! LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH I SUBSCRIBED YOU!

  • @lizzy44444

Are you stupid? This rule was imposed on black people and that is therefore what they have become accustomed to.

  • I love you!! Perfectly answered in every shape, form, and fashion :D

  • He sounds like my perfect quintessential Grandma/pa, sitting at his knee comforted and educated.

  • idk if im multiracial b/c i have white, native american, and black ancestry what does that make me?????????????

  • @lizzy44444

    Your an idiot.

  • @lizzy44444 You are a damn lie. I can't tell you how many times I have heard whites call Obama the first black president or calling him a NIGGER and not anything else on internet forums. Stop making shit up. I'm black and I could care less what biracials call themselves. I know they are not black

  • You see here is my problem. I am half asian Half Mullato, Now it doesnt bother me when people constantly ask me to racially identify myself that much. What bothers me is when people treat me as if how I look (hispanic) Let me break this down to you. Im not hispanic, but on documents or police reports they classify me as a hispanic male. thats the only thing that bothers me,I came here looking for people who are mixed like me to see what they look like and stuff.

  • what an amazing video! I agree with you being multiracial myself and having to choose ALL THE TIME!

  • "If you do not understand White Supremacy (Rascism) What it is, and how it works everything else that you understand, will only confuse you" Dr. Neely Fuller Jr. (1971)

  • Why am I just in love with your energy! Just love it!

  • You are a disgrace to mixed-race people.

  • b.scott u are giving monique tease on this one lol!!! i love it!!!

  • B. Scott talks and conducts himself life a a black female. So we should love him - as a black drag queen. lol

  • I agree. Im 50% black nd 50% white nd i gt racial comments all da time. I mean, I go2 a predominatly white school n a city called "White Oak." My mom and dad arent 2gether anymor nd i liv wit my WHITE mom. These r da reasons y i dnt understand y ppl always try2 force me2 date black ppl or try 2get me 2tlk "black." I disagree. Most ppl say dat Im too "white." I prolly cldnt go2 anotha skool witout gettin made fun of or "jumped" 4 acting "white." Im srri 4 da ppl dat feel dat way 2wards me, rlly.

  • I agree with this video! I don't understand why people have such a problem with biracial or multiracial people calling themselves what they are. These people should not have to say that they are just black; they should be able to claim all of the races that they are. Sadly, it's mostly black people shoving this one drop rule down biracial/multiracial people's throats and I think they need to shut up about it. I'm all black but I do not believe in the stupid one drop rule. It has to go!

  • "Sadly, it's mostly black people shoving this one drop rule down biracial/multiracial people's throats and I think they need to shut up about it"

And it's obvious for hundreds of yours. They, in general, use us like niggers for them to get up the white social latter. So fucking petty that they resort to the thing that was mean't to degrade them to begin with.

  • I agree with you, B Scott! : )

  • I agree with you B.Scott! Its funny because I do consider myself as a black woman but others don't...my father is biracial and my mom is black but I'm not sure if thats still mixed LOL...so I just say black...I have had people come up to me saying "what are u" n that I can't be black if I'm light skinned but whatever! Thats a whole different topic...but I agree with u!!!!!

  • "I agree with you B.Scott! Its funny because I do consider myself as a black woman but others don't...my father is biracial and my mom is black but I'm not sure if thats still mixed LOL"

UUUHHH, you lack intelligence woman. you "tragic" mixed person... If you're father is mixed, you';re mixed to. I hope your father is ashamed to what you said here.

  • I don't think multiracial people should have to pick. And I don't think multiracial people should tell black people that they can't claim their mixed heritage because it happened two generations ago. Mixed is mixed. A lot of people are mixed and other mixed black people will tell them that their mix doesn't count because it was their great-grandmother. As B-Scott says, that is why they look they way they do. So, if you have a mixed heritage and you want to claim it. Claim it!

  • After watching this, it dawned on me that the reason why people have tried to define B. Scott through his entire life is because he's so far from fitting any kind of mold that exists out there. Most of the time, we can categorize people in some way, based on assumption. But with B. Scott, his uniqueness makes doing so a harder task (not that we should be categorizing people based on assumption in the first place).

  • true dat

  • My son brought home a survey from his school. The survey asked about the students race. Then it went on to ask the "multiracial" students which race they identified themselves with the most . I was upset and appalled by that being on survey. What? They wanted the multiracial students to deny the other race(s) that makeup who they are. Crazy. Another thing ppl need to stop thinking they can always tell another person's race by how they look.

  • "Then it went on to ask the "multiracial" students which race they identified themselves with the most ."

The unforntuneate truth is that there are dumb "tragic" mixed people who choose one out of they're stupidity.

  • Whatever one needs to know is we are all mixed some kind of way. So just because your hair texture and skin color varies doesn't make a difference. I look 100% black with irish and indian blood in my line. So what. You are right B. Scott. Be you!!!!!

  • Amen baby!

  • Hey, ahhhhh dna testing will start a war I'm afraid lol. There aren't any pure races unless you are swapping spit with your cousin someone got into your tree when you weren't looking. What trips me out is how mad some people get when you mention that you have other than in you. Oh now, it's ok when they do it, shun you, and get other people to exclude you but you can't say it. You grow up with names like Rainbow or Pocahontas yet you are suppose to identify, how? Pick what? Please tell me.

  • i agree with everything, i come from 4 ethnicities as well, so i understand completely

  • You can run but you can't hide from me Zee. Blocking me doesn't make it go away. Unlike you, BScott knows who he is. Perhaps you should listen to what he has to say, instead of passing judgement..otherwise B-B-B!!

  • Bitch, shut up!

  • "whatever will benefit me in a situation"

please elaborate on that julieluvpink, because if you're one of those "i'm only "whatever" when it suits me" then thats pretty dumb. Be who you are, dont NOT be white or biracial or black when it doesn't benefit you. Thats just as bad as people not claiming one part of them b/c its bad to do that at the time.

  • they some haters you're a sexy bitch and don't ever forget it honey!

  • THANKYOU!

    I am mixed as well.

And i fully understand,it is IGNORANT.

    Peace and love.

Whites and blacks have pride,we can too.

  • i wanted to make a vlog on this topic too, but i have no camera.

i always see myself as a white girl. black girl and a mulatto girl. i like to be whatever will benefit me in a situation. like a chameleon.

society hates that i see myself as 3 races. they dont like it when they cant put you in a box. im not a self hater. im not ashamed. im an opportunist who uses who they are to their advantage.

society can see me how they want. i decided that i am a white girl. black girl. and mulatto girl.

  • lol

  • eerm it goes both ways aswell you know. most bi-racials want to be identified as black because those are the people who they grew up and socialized with, and thats what society recognizes them as, some go even the extra mile of studyin Afrocentrism and knowing more about the family history of the black side rather than the white.most ethnic communities dont except some-one thats half of them as a whole especially when your half black, but the black race in america is messed up so who r u 2 deny

  • Are you saying that a mixed race person does not deserve black scholarships??? r u saying that mized ppl shouldnt be allowed in black magazines ...so what u r saying is that mized ppl should be cast out of the category black??? in that case black history would be a lot different and the accomplishments of the black community would be cut nearly in half and according to your rules we still dont have a black president then,

  • "Are you saying that a mixed race person does not deserve black scholarships???"

As long as they don't one-drop them. I got a black scholarship that wants to see whether if I was black or not in order to confirm the scholarship. I selected no along with an indication of my other non-black background, and a week later, I didn't get the scholarship.

  • It's just a bunch of horse shit from hypocrites - they literally implied that they server those of African descent, but when you indicated that you are mixed and you don't I dentify with the black label, they cast you out. Black people forcing half-blacks to be niggers at it's finest from my experience

  • i LOVE pinkberry!

  • you have a beautiful mix of races ^_^ and I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU though I am only Puerto-Rican a blend of White, African American, and Native American.

  • I can completely relate to you because I currently go to a private school where the white race is the most dominant and I am biracial. I often feel pressured between the few black people and the large portion of white people. I hate it how they constantly force me to choose between one of my races and I actually refuse to choose a race. You keep telling the truth Beyy && maybe some of those stupid, ignorant, and judgmental people will understand it's not okay.

  • Very inspiring video

  • I swear there is crack in pinkberry

  • Totally off topic but B.. ur paw paw dance is so addictive I was jamming today and subconciously started doing the paw .. LOL .. Damn .. Double kisses !

  • i can relate to this because i am black and native american but i was raised as an african american and have never embraced my native american side. i kno nothing about that side of my family and i wanna kno more about them but i dont kno how to go about it...its a book called "Colonize This !" i read in a womens studies class and its very interesting, you might like it...it talks aboutt his problem in one of the stories

  • I know how you feel. I am a white hybrid of so many different white races. The hybrids are the ones that are the most attractive and most healthy anyways. So you should never have to choose what you are so long as you are yourself. People just want others to label themselves to get ride of individuality so that they can feel better about themselves and feel superior and not threatened. keep being your awesome gorgeous self B Scott! <33

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU... I Love Yuh Even More FOr This Video.. It Seems Soo Hard For People To Accept Im mixed.. Have the Looks of a Dominican but yet I play Mas During Carnival in Trinidad.. ppl get confused and cant accept..

  • so true, I thought segregation was done with, 'one love, one heart, let's get together and feel all right' *Bob Marley

  • im 20 years old and have only recently begun to be proud of being mix race, not becuase i feel greater than white or black pple its purely becouase i feel more confident and secure of who i am as a person and it really doesnt matter, n for those that make neggative assumptions due to my herritage i just put u behind me. i can fit in wid the whites n fit in wid b the blacks, im me.

  • YES, TELL IT!!!! i cant not choose, and wont choose because iam ALL of the races iam mixed with. im tired of people saying oh well u just look spanish, oh well you look like a "ligh skinned black girl" NO baby im MIXED! lol good video

  • I agree you.

  • omg BSCOTT i am sooo happy u touched on this i love bein mixed, and i hate when ppl say u tryin to act like somethin.... i act how i was raised :)

  • just black??? black is not a race. it is category. everybody is special.

  • I definitely understand boo be proud of who you are! By the way i love pinkberry i get the captain crunch and strawberry topping its sooooo good!

  • You do shine! I wish people could embrace and acccept themselves as you. Your confidence and heart shines to the point where that is all i see. I see you!!! Thanks "love muffin" lol

  • thank you beutifull human, you shine!

  • All These people Saying They're "Mixed", As if They're Some Type Of Beverage Or Food Item..... "Mixed"

  • boy you are off the chain...but ur right..on so many levels!

  • Thank you. God, this made me think.

    Wolfe

  • I really feel you on this one B.Scott. I have people ask all the time what do I represent myself as. I've heard people over the years saying I'm having a black moment or a white moment. I just say I am having a me moment. I'm like I would never be who I am today if it wasn't for the races that make me who I am.

  • thats so true

  • im black puerto rican..ppl always tell me to choose...but im both...i except who i am

  • all of us are multi racial...no one is pure anything!

  • that is soooo true.

  • I love you regardless. I guess the reason why I feel that you are easy to understand and never get boring to others, at least to me, is because you are different and unique. You are a beautiful person. Kisses and hugs.

  • ask yourself why blacks are the only race to be classed by their skin and not the region they originate caucasian= caucas mongoloid= mongolia African= black?

The idea of race is bullshit when Africans darker then you are classed as caucasoid or mediteranen

like Sudanese, classed as caucasian once like Egypt and the horn of Africa were but you look at a African Ethiopian Eritrean Somalian from the horn or south west asian Yemenite and tell me they aint a Black people also? Race is flaud

  • its merely a social construct! In London you would be classed as black even though you're half white based on the dominace of black genetics supposedly, but realisticly all indigenous Africans range from jet black - choclate brown- sepia redish brown- mixed- almost white and every population in Africa has a degree of crossovers from past populations being as AFRICA as it were is the fatherhood/motherhood of the HUMAN RACE how can you define what the black race really is? It cant be done

  • Im mixed half african origin and half white european. Ive noticed that whenever Im in a white crowd or even like arabic n asian I am seen as a full blooded black person but whenever Im with my black brothers n sisters they make sure 2 inform me that Im not black, that Im white. personaly I see myself as mixed as in the confusion mixed race ppl go trough with ppl always putting labels on them and with the feeling to belong somewhere. I know what I am

  • blacck people don't have a specific way of speaking. that is so racist.

  • u dont know enough about blk people to tell me shyt! Stay in yo lane.

  • how would you know if i know about black people or not?

  • I agree with exactly what you're saying.

I'm African American and Native American, but society just sees me as black.

I'm proud of all my culture, race, etc.

i LOVE your message:]] it's beautiful.

  • i kno i havent seen all b scott videos yet....but this is my favorite one...love ya b scott double kisses muah muah bye bye lol

  • Buh respect fo who u r

  • No offense u remind me of Michael Jackson. Buh lookin at wat dis vid rly fo, mulattoes doesn't need to chose dat iz right me mon.

  • well i honestly dnt kno wat 2 think bcuz ive been told that i am white african american and native american[wasnt told the specific type] but i have also been told u are wat ur father is[apparently its in the bible] nd in that case i would be african american or natvie american but i rlly dont kno bcuz i was told my grandfather was indian but that down the line the fathers were afriacan american????but i kno im proud of every root i have if i didnt hav them i wouldnt be who i am todayGOOD TOPIC!

  • i know exactly where u comin from, i'm black & white too and i don't think it's fair that i should have to choose. it'd dumb and ridiculous, i'm me. point blank.

  • I agree with BScott but at the end of the day SOCIETY isn't concerned with the various aspects of your genetic disposition. If you are biracial and you appear African American, then you are considered African American. Take for instance, President Obama--he is considered the 1st African American president even though his mother is White. He is not considered the 1st multiracial president. I can understand why this is frustrating for multiracial individuals but this is the truth of the matter.

  • Yes u r speakin the truth

  • i feel u on dat one cause im black, irish, and french dont worry bout them they need to look in da mirror dont cross "B"

  • i luv u for who u r

  • I believe if you live in America, you have more than one "race" in your veins even if it isn't apparently visible. America is called the melting pot for a reason...

  • AMEN u preachin to the choir

  • Thank you!!

  • Since when is Jewish an race or nationality? Duh, it's an religion.

  • lol um, what was that EIGHT months ago, dag. I had to go look up what you were responding to. Why are you taking so much time to fish through comments. And no, it didnt sound creepy. But yea, it was mean. but as i said, eight months ago so its really irrelevant now.

  • Hey, well you're have to forgive me. I love to read and I treat all comments as though they have meaning. Glad to see you're not the same person today.

  • What I dont understand..is why do you multi/biracials make all of these videos about your race..Im failing to understand what is the big hoopla or question ..Okay your biracial or multiracial move on..BiracialTiffany is just SAD...ALL of this chicks videos have to do with race. Move on already..

  • I agree with that B. Scot

  • BSCOTT, once again making my day. i understand, relate & appreciate fully thank you babayy!

  • they ask you to choose to so then they think they know how to deal with you. i understand your view most def

  • Let me make it known: I have no issues with Black Americans. My issues are with the ideals (which are not just limited to Black Americans) that if you do not wave the Black flag every minute of everyday you are ashamed. Let me say this, I wave the woman flag proudly, does this mean I don't like men? that I hate men or am mad that I'm not a man, that I male bash? No. not at all. So, the fact that I am proud to be other things, in addition to Black doesn't mean I am ashamed of being Black.

  • I dont have "issues" with my black side. I love who I am. I love being black, and I love being white. You dont know my father, you dont know me, so how are you going to judge me on something you have no idea about?

  • i was NOT talking to you i made a comment at another person.

  • why shouldn't i be proud of who and what I am? I'm definitely not ashamed of it. and who are you to tell me I cant be proud of my race?

  • be proud of who you are. BUT what does Race have to do with who you are??? I mean you canNOT choose what race you are. but you can choose what type of person you want to be.

When someone says they are proud of their race its almost like they are saying they think they are better than whatever race. Honestly its not about being proud of your race its about loving and excepting other races and knowing that everyone is equal.

  • Amen. Thanks for the video!

  • oh my gosh like im black an asian an i got into with this black girl who said im JUST black an like its always a black girl but she tries categorize me as being jus that...like the only people that categorize you as being jus one race are ignorant ass people

  • see the thing with me, everyone says I shouldn't be black because I was brought up with my mom who is white. They say I talk like a white girl, have white girl hair, and sometimes dress like a white girl. But I claim both because I like being both, although discrimination is always going to be around, I'm proud of being mixed. :)

  • how are you proud of something you have NO control over??? You can ONLY be proud of something that YOU can accomplish. and choosing your race is NOTHING you have control over.

  • u don't have a choice over being a woman or a man either doesn't mean u can't be proud. u don't have comtrol over who ur parents are doesn't mean u can't be proud to be born of them

  • are you proud of her parents because of their race or because of WHO THEY ARE AS A PERSON???

are you really proud of being a women or man, or just accept what you were born with???

  • Pride: -adjective

    (just 2 of many definitions)

    2. having, proceeding from, or showing a high opinion of one's own dignity, importance, or superiority.

    3. having or showing self-respect or self-esteem.

Noting that, I am proud of my parents for WHO they are, but WHAT they are does have an impact on WHO they are. I wouldn't expect my father to understand the pride i feel as a woman. But I do have high DIGNITY, SELF-ESTEEM AND RESPECT FOR WHO i am and WHAT i am

  • I am biracial, and I never claim just one race. They never have "milado" as an option so I either have to select other or multiracial. So I always claim black and white, always.

  • ita a race war sides must be chosen cause the racist wont go away so whos bsck would u have , i think subconsuasly(spellin) this is wat black society is thinkin ) ive heard people make comments to this point.

  • thank you for this video... thank you ...

  • Being biracial myself, I completely and totally agree with what you say in this video.

Why can't I just be mulata? Why do I have to identify myself as black, even though I am 50% white?

  • see im with u ( i was taught by my mom im sicilian this means italian (latin not white) and black ) but black society dont recignise us ( shit im light skined ive got a natural jerry curl and an afro on my chin ) and here were im at no one has ever seen some one like me so im under a micro scope and i wish people would give me some room to breath

  • im multiracial and yes alot of people say i should just say im african ameriacn but i cant because im not just african american,i've also deal with people who constantly ask what race are you damnit if it was for you to know dont you think i would've told you,its a new day and age get with it or get lost, big ups to you b scott,it does get tiring after awhile trying to explaine to people that you are who you are and that you love it no matter what

  • If you are "mixed," you shouldn't EVER deny one side of who you are to appease the other. But please, stop being so judgemental to all blacks. Maybe the ones in your family, or in your environment want you to only claim your black side, but not EVERY black person cares! What a blanket statement saying that about ALL blacks. I have NEVER expected mixed friends/family to choose! Stop generalizing. Thank GOD Obama isn't ashamed of his "black" blood and he's proudly married to a BLACK woman! Adios!

  • I hear you. I'm black/white and everyone tells me i'm black. i feel like if i say i'm black i'm no representing my mother and if i say i'm white i'm not representing my daddy. I am neither but both!!

  • Please, you still came from Europeans and Africans no matter what you think. Don't deny it.

  • B. Scott, are you drunk? lol

  • yeah thats not right to make people choose what race they are. howthe hell do you choose. if youre evenly divided in all those races then youre all of them. why should you have to just choose ONE. or the one you look most like. WHATEVER!

  • to mention what they are "mixed" with and black is the last thing they mention. I pity some of you. Take a nice ride into Alabama, Mississippi and have a drink at the local red-neck bar and they'll show you just how much they love the "mixed" side of you. It's not black people that are calling Obama black, it's racist white America. Or have you not been watching Fox News? Wow, I personally don't want anyone denying heritage to me because I really could care less. Willie Lynch did a great job.smh

  • "It's not black people that are calling Obama black"

Believe it or not they do, and Willie Lynch did a good job doing it, let alone Jim Crow.

  • "stain" of black blood to be so ashamed of that part of them. So what everyone has traces of mixture in them, but if you wanna have "Ooooh I'm mixed" party go for it. Black people are'nt judging you, racist white America is and you know it. Start laying the blame where it belongs. There's still parts of this country that is racist as all hell. But I guess your mixed self will fit right in at the country club. I guess the stigma attached to being black is too much for some. That's why they are so

  • black ppl are judging. they get mad when you say "i'm mixed" and not just claim the black side.

  • you obviously do NOT like black people. And you are one of them.

The thing is i noticed with SOME mixed people, is they have issues with their black side.

  • how is it obvious i don't like black ppl? i have no issues with black ppl. i don't have issues with any ppl based on race. ppl do enough dumb stuff for me to not care about them one way or another on their own without putting race in it. my issues aren't with mixed ppl if ur dominican, irish, black, indian and hatian then do u and wave ya flag and be proud of it ALL.

  • Im a black women and I don't judge or have concern with individuals who identify themselves as multi or biracial. I don't get mad or take offense bc I feel that everyone should love themselves. I LOVE being a Black women, and I wouldn't change that even if I were given the opportunity. Just remember that sometimes the opinions of a few can be confused with the thought processes of all.

  • and the fact that you bring up the "one drop rule" says that you, like many others are still in teh mind frame of "white ppl said it so it must be true" living in the confines of that mind frame. And many black ppl do call Obama, Halle Berry, Vanessa Williams black. I agree with those that are pround of ALL of their heritage because what exactly is "black"? is it a skin color or does "black" automatically mean african-american? because a lot of "black" ppl are not JUST of african descent

  • Well if you R-E-A-D my comment you will see that I'm stating the one drop rule was put in place by WHITE people not black people. I could care less what side you claim, it in NO way affects me. You think a racist white person is going to "accept" you because you're only part black? lol, and Halle Berry said herself she calls herself a black woman because that's what her mom said she would be perceived as in the world we live in. I bet you'd kill yourself if you were called a n*****. LMAO!

  • No I wouldn't the same way i wouldn't if someone called me a bitch. it's not what you're called it's what you answer to. someone could call me a popsicle and that doesn't mean i'm going to answer. and while the one drop rule may have been put in place by white people it is supported and continued by black people-- which could be seen as a good thing or a bad thing. and what you are perceived as is one thing and what you define yourself as is something else.

  • Wow, I'm getting a bit exasperated here. I can't even fathom why you're taking such offense to my comment. Are you trying to convince me of something? The only thing you're convincing me of is that you hate the fact that you're part black. How about this so you can feel better, don't claim ANY black at all. Why do you think they're calling Obama the 1st Black President even tho he's mixed? Oooooh that's right, black people run the media too! LMAO let's agree to disagree ok? Take care.

  • I'm not offended by anything. i am very aware of what i APPEAR to be and what I AM. And I am cool with all of that and all the in between. I am proud of all of what made me Jamaican, Seminole, Angolan, Creole and afro-Cuban. I have nothing to convince you of. just as u have nothing to convince me of. i know what MY life and experiences have taught me. God bless

  • "a racist white person is going to "accept" you because you're only part black?"

Oh trust me, some do. I know one who does.

  • "lol, and Halle Berry said herself she calls herself a black woman because that's what her mom said she would be perceived as in the world we live in"

Maybe her mother was spreading the awareness that that could happen? It's not her fault, that that idiot for a tragic mulato for a daughter is raciat confused.

  • @Tetzukai Actually Ms. Berry calls her self biracial and depending on "the she's in she just defers. She acknowledges her blackness but she doesn't only define herself that way. Google her interview on Tyra about her daughter.

  • Then what is with the rumors that she one-drops herself?

  • Speaking of African Americans.I am married to an man who was born in Africa,so he is an African-American.A person born in Africa who is now an American.I was born in America, not in Africa, but now I am called an African American.I have never understood that. All of my ancestors are not from Africa. My husband and I both agree that I am not African-American. I am just an American who happens to be black.White people are not called European Americans. Why are they calling us African American????

  • A lot of white people call themselves "Caucasian". most forms have labels as "Black/African descent" "White/Caucasian" "Native American" "Asian" "Other" and "Hispanic/Latino". Personally I just check the other box unless me specifying is gonan get me a scholarship or something lol

  • wow the ignorance is broad here. I think the people who are "mixed" w/ black are ashamed of it. Why do you feel blacks are claiming you when it is racist America that made the "one drop rule?" I mean, what is this "I'm Spanish" business. There are afro-latinos, white-latinos, indian latino's, etc. It's like saying you're American. There are so many different races....It's so sad what Africans that were brought here as slaves endured, rape, torture, murder only for those who have the

  • I agree with everything you say. You are beautiful!

  • you are fabulous. And beautiful. And I completely agree.

  • You're a beautiful, multiracial person!

  • I'm multiracial too. People tried to make me choose. Your beautiful and a beautfiul person, God Bless you.

  • What does it matter...? You are who you are.

  • get you some business bossyNandi. silly ass hoe. u don't fit in because u discriminate bitch.....
