Is the optimal configuration 4x HDA + 2x HD1801 per side? I'm planning on buying this configuration with the HD1801 ground-stacked. But I'm not sure it will be enough low end with 4x HD1801...
@dangerousdave0983 These are in fact, different, crap Chinese speakers....no, seriously, EAW (Eastern Acoustic Works), who are leaders in touring sound worked with us to custom-design the 12-inch neodymium driver. The two compression drivers are from Beyma, some of the best transducers available. It's a new game at Mackie now and I think you will be happy with the quality.

@tascam123 You will see a large vertical slit to the right of the woofer. The two Beyma compression drivers are behind the slit. That is the opening for the high-frequency signal to exit.
@mackietv looks like November is the best estimate for US availability right now. If you are interested, certainly let your dealer know so that they can place the appropriate order from us
My work uses these as a LCR configuration and it kicks ass !
