  • I have thought this over , Buck. Some of the land is already prepared and just needs more care. I hope this helps.

  • @bucklandb

You know, I think about your question and I do know that some farm land was logged with horses and cleared, so my answer has to be yes.

  • @bucklandb HeyBuck,

I hope I answered your question. We are having a hay bling event at our farm soon to learn and teach. I just came back from learning from a driving master in Montana. It was very unique. I wish I could have stayed longer. So much to learn in so short a time. He was definitely a gentle man with his horses and they responded and work they day. But, in return he made sure they were well cared for several times a day. It was the best time I have ever had!

  • Hi Buck, I'll ask one of my farmers as I a new to the plow club. I am just learning in the last year from them. We will be baling hay soon. At a friend's farm and then, in several weeks here for a public hay baling day weather permitting.

I am sure in the past, you plowed, ran into rocks, moved them or did no have a straight line. I am still learning myself. I will get back to your questions soon! Some of the machines are riding plows and harrows while others are ground plows.

  • The horses are so strong that the plow is just glided by your hand as they walk forward. Such wonderful blessings God has created.
