@jimimyhero buy a used loop pedal of ebay and you can make all these backingtracks etc etc etc as long as the loop pedal can record for :)  and not only that loop pedals are great fun !

(YOu can't always fire up YouTube when you want a backing track).

I did it by recording into an Olympus LS-10 then transferring the MP3 to my PC.

@rippersk8er A little song info for you :D. Originally the song was performed with the whole band. But George realised Eddie was just tearing it up and he decided to fade most of it out and just leave the guitar in all its glory.

Not bad, needs some smoothing on the cut part of the loop and needs to be tuned to straight E (back then they recorded with tape so a lot of tracks from back then are slightly out of tune)

i think in the original the solo is only on the left side... so i think they just faded out the right speaker completely and made the right play on both sides of the stereo field
