After messing with the TK12 (new version) and the PD30 R4. I went with the PD30. At 265L and its ease of carrying size, you cant go wrong. Plus the new TK12s aren't as easily manipulated one handed.
Seems like a lot of things to remember in order to use all of it's functions. Last thing I want to do in a gun fight is stop to adjust my light. I'll take a good ole Surefire 200 lumen E2D led.
E2D is solid, but keep in mind the TK12 can be set in the mode as desired ready for tail button control. It is nice to leave it in fighting mode, yet have the capability to be switched to searching modes.
Question, and I hope you don't take it the wrong way, since it gives me a laugh but... why do you talk the way you do? It almost sounds like a character off of Sesame Street. Do you do that simply to keep the viewer interested? Or is that your natural voice? Apologies if it's the latter, it just sparked my curiosity.
I only own LD10 and LD20 torches (single and double AA versions) but I'm absolutely digging them. Especially since they are so compact and lightweight for what they do. I suspect that the CR123 versions are even more compact. I wish Fenix would get rid of the flashing modes though... By the way the tailcaps are VERY durable for what they are.
pd30 is a great light, look for the pd31 as my next light.

I'm getting the tk12 and looking forward to it. It puts out the light when you need it, that's for sure.

Fenix is a great alternative to Surefire if you can't afford one. Fenix lights are durable but a bit more complex. Great review

@jamesgang94591 It's really not as comlicated as it looks. I could do without the strobe and SOS. I guess nothing is perfect but I love my P3d Q5

Fantastic reviewer; ditto to what everyone else has said. Love MSM. 9:38 is funny.

Very nice. The threads on there look like acme threads, the same that many shotguns use to hold the barrel to the receiver.

Great looking and very pro grade video and review MSM. Good to see you making them again.
