@pilootcollins If your refering to the lightning effect in his aura then no he didn't goes SSJ2 as the lightning is often present during the first few seconds of the transformation to SSJ.

@riicky83 Well when he started puling the sword out he there was electrical he still had the aura at some times. Plus when Gohan goes SSJ2 sometimes even when he doesn't have the aura. So for him to have the aura at times here could mean he did go SSJ2.

And if it was as simple as destroying the rock by brute force, the sheer amount of strength required to pull it out would destroy the rock in the act, where that the case.
