Written by Peter Andreoli and Vince Poncia, Jr. for Elviss 1965 film Harum Scarum. Elvis recorded it in February 1965 at RCAs Nashville Studios. It is available on Command Performances-The Essential 60s Masters II, and the Harum Scarum/Girl Happy soundtrack compilation, which is where this version is from
I've always admired this very tremendous, fun, overlooked and underrated song a whole lot. It's one of hundreds of very seldom "known about" jewels recorded by King Elvis. The vast majority of people have absolutely no clue that Elvis recorded many hundreds of great songs. I've always liked the movie "Harum Scarum" a whole lot. It's totally unlike any other Elvis movie. Elvis will definitely always be #1. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.
Work it out!
