the reason he got far with a lifted truck is that the back tires were not always on the ground they kept bouncing if they were on the ground the tires would have made a whole and wouldnt be able to move thats what i think

these trucks arnt set up for just one thing, they do different events such as hill-n-hole, sled pulls, tug-a-war, mud drags, hell in lakeland fl in the iron man truck series they ran them down the paved drag strip. build a sled truck if you want, but youll only do 1 thing... pull a damn sled. so dont say "guy has no brains" or "who pulls with a lifted truck" know what your talking about first b4 making a comment!
