I had 2 sunburst 62 reissues that unfortunately I had to sell. I miss them both. One was an 88 the other was a recent one but they both sounded and played great. Great guitar and amp combo and you sounded great.
Beautiful Sunburst Strat. Good sound. I have a older, green-board blues jr. with the origional Eminence speaker. I'm thinking of trying a Celestion Greenback in it ... maybe open it up a little.
Wow, you sound really professional; I'd love to be able to do that someday. Your style sounds very influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, would you agree? That is a style of the blues I'd previously not been as keen to, but your playing makes me want to revisit it. So yeah, you've made me interested in that Texas blues sound. You, and not Stevie Ray Vaughan. That means you've got one up on Stevie, man. :)
nice dude, i thought my style was unique but appears yours is nearly identical to mine =D, nice playing 5*****'s =) ( bit random but in the middle is that people signing in on msn that i hear lool?)
Hey, im starting a blues band with my cuz and i was wondering if you could hear this amp over a drumset, thanks! Also is it possible to get some sort of a AC/DC sound out of this using any type of distortion. I will mostly be playing blues so would you reccomend using this or a Vox Valvetronix AD50VT? Thanks a whole lot!
@lighteningboy see i have a hot rod deville 212 which is suppose to be close to the hotrod deluxe and i want to downg grade to the blues junior which i think has better tone too because i want a very versatile amp but my guitar teacher tells me to keep the deville if i ever want to tour. Have any advice?
@Ericclapton325 I ended up selling both Blues Juniors (Tolex and Tweed) and got a Super Sonic 22. I am extremely happy with the Supersonic. The tones are perfect for me, who plays in a blues band. They make a ton of good sounding gain. There are 22, 60 and 100 watt versions. They are a bit more more cash, but man, they are worth checking out.
Great tone. I have the same setup as you, fender blues jr, and fender 62' reissue strat. The pickups on your 62' ri strat stock? I'm thinking of putting in a set of custom shop 69 pickups.
I like your style and will throw some of your licks in my bag. Have my credit card in hand and will purchase this amp right now!!! Thanks for posting your stuff.
Nice demo, GREAT Blues, I love it. The BJA sounds nice and I will probably buy one. Your demo really helps, thanks for posting it. Keep Jazzing, you have a nice feeling for the Blues!
Been pondering over a few different amps and Strats recently, I decided on a Blues Junior and USA Deluxe ash, did a quick blues junior search on here and you popped up straight away, Beautiful playing and I think you've made my decision for me. Top marks mate.
You just get better and better, thanks for putting this stuff on, touchy, feely stuff I love it. It's not the guitar although it is great(And I play one) it's not the amp although that too is great(And I want one!) It's the way you play. Thanks again, keep it up.
Practice the pentatonic scales, and look for blues tricks online. Then listen to a song and figure out what they're doing. Video helps. Good luck, dude

This amp can go over a drumset cranked but your tone will change. It's expensive but i recommend a blues deluxe. $200 more is completely worth it.
