i did this to my gun. nerf saw all the moding videos and made it harder to seperate the barrel they started to glue the two pesis to gether. you have to weken the glue seal you take a hobby knife or some kind of blade and you run it around crese whar the to piesis fit to gether and it should come apart

I just got around to modding my nite finder and it turned out fantastic. Thanks for your great mod video. I referred to it step by step while modding and I'm very happy with the results. You're right, my gun now shoots double the distance and can shoot a wide variety of darts. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

@ThePranksterpete you just twist it around a pull. that should work. if it doesnt, then you might not have to same model of the night finder.

@ThePranksterpete the newer models are sealed so with mine i cut it with a knife and then after i put it back together i put duct tape around where i cut to keep the air in

I had the same problem; I think that Nerf superglued them in hopes that it would stop the modding. However, if you grab both sides and twist in opposite directions (BE CAREFUL!) you can separate them. I just did it, an dit worked like a charm.

i think from a website they told me if the barrel is glued together, you got to place it in boiling water for 20 seconds take 1 part off and 20 more seconds then take the other parts off IMPORTANT: do not put it in longer than that or the barrel will bend

@thenerfteam1 Question: The barrel, the air restricter area, and the gun hole (forgot the name but the hole you would place the dart) are glued together and are unable to be removed. The Nite Finder is a 2010 model (assuming the yellow one is the most recent).Would you kindly explain how to remove the glue from the nerf gun and reply as soon as possible. Please and thank you.

@thenerfteam1 All the new ones have them glued on. Some people say to put it in hot water or use nail polish remover. I tried both; none of them work. The only way to do it is to saw it off. If you wanna see what I mean, buy a new nerf nite finder from your local target. They usually restock quickly.

@doomkrakin all you do is boil water and place the gun in for ten seconds take it out with tongs and then the glue is gone... though you have to relub everything
