Ashley isn't how I pictured Alice initially. I pictured Alice to look like a young Winona Ryder in Girl Interrupted. As for wearing a wig, it would have been nice if she cut it and kept the hair black. Make it look more pixie like. She still makes a great Alice though. I like her for the part. :D

she did cut her hair, about up to her shoulders, but because of the stunt doubles and other doubles, Catherine had said it would just be easier to match the styles by using wigs. Ashley was all for cutting her hair.

Actually I think the real reason why she didn't cut her hair is because she has a contract with the modeling agency shes in. They probably have strict rules when it comes to the way they want their models to look. Catherine never said anything regarding her hair. Jackson said the "extra" thing as an excuse obviously because finding a girl that has short hair to be her extra wouldn't have been a hard thing to do. It doesn't really matter though. Ashley still looks great with the wig. :)

i dont really think so, my friend and i are models and our agency has no problem with us cutting our hair, they work with it, and if they dont like it they either add extentions or put a wig on. So i really do think its about the doubles.
