Let's not forget this as well. Unemployment under Bush was as low as during his 8 years as any President in history. Secondly, his tax CUTS generated more revenue for the government than any President in HISTORY. BTW It amazes me that for the last several years of Bush's tenure the dem's harp about the defecit and how we need to balance it. Obama QUADRUPALED the deficit in the first 48 hours of his Presidency. Funny how we don't hear a word about the deficit now.

Bush did give a stimulus check, but it was the democratic party that forced that issue. Bush was demonstrating his bi partisanship by agreeing to that.
