Mixed feelings. I like how you present the normal word vs. the illusionary world that we delve into when the schizo hits hard, but it seems...not like a schizophrenic vision at all. Especially near the middle, with the gothic Twilight-looking knife guy. Everyone sees different things, but it doesn't really convey the idea really well.

Good try though, and excellent for a high school project.

@MsWolf4life Try meditation. Test it to see if it may help. Even If it doesn't cure it, it may - as a by product - give you a powerful enough focus to completely ignore the voices and illusions. Hope you have a complete recovery!!!

Your comment is funny to me though because it reminds me of holding my head under water trying to see if the Demons could still find me or actually thinking drilling my ears out might help as well, but you are right - there are things you can do to take your mind off them to a certain extent, personally I'd suggest keeping busy

She's in a dark alley, i cant even work up the guts to step outside so i bet her Schizophrenia is not as worse as mine. Everytime i look into a dark place i swear i feel eyes on my like someone is in the shadows staring back. And then the voices, they just drive me crazy and ive heard them since i was 6

my sister really has schizophrenia with physcosis and she got mad at this short film you dont know how its like unless you have it she says not only is it embarassing but its show much more than portrayed she was diagnosed when she turned 4 and she finds it difficult going through everyday with a painful sickness its kinda sad

rather than take it to the coclusion that its a never ending nitemare and all is lost..focus on the fact of how much modern medicine has helped make those who suffer with schizophrenia, live a happy and healthy lifestyle. And very often young people who have a schizophrenic episode more often than not, only have the one episode, as long as they are treated with meds to get thru the psychosis.

I have great respect for you,in ur creative video,that was mostly accurate.

nice camera shots. lighting was really good. I am a camera operator and I have schizophrenia too! Shorstopmwd was probably right though. Doesn't do Schizophrenia justice. I think the narration was what really kept the film back. It was too short too.

Taxi Driver is a great movie of how a schizophrenic might act.
