  • He would digged my garden in no time

  • I'm a big lochte-fan, because of his work-ethic. I don't know how most of the other swimmers train, but i have never seen them doing this type of shit.

Plus he never complains about training it seems..

  • @popachris101 awkward after world champs :L

  • and he still cant beat phelps......

  • @popachris101 he will dude

  • @popachris101 You dumb? He just completely owned Michael Phelps at the world championships !

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • @fckdahlloff It's whatever song came with the Flip camera software.

  • que tio más bestia

  • que bestia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how much does the keg weigh? 20 lbs ae

  • @hahehahe26 28 lbs

  • Just wondering, how many lbs/kilo is the thing he lifts at 0:06-0:07 ?

  • @Tristan239 120lbs

  • Im glad he did so well this past year he deserved it after the hard work he did here. People think unless you're a football player you have no business lifting, truth is those quick bursts when you lift make you so explosive something a soccer player, swimmer, tennis player, rower etc can benefit from.

  • Why put a OL-gold winner in a gym when he can hit a tire with a sledgehammer on the street :o

  • @crispybartyyy Well, it doesn't have to be a pretty gym to do good, hard work. 7 medals at Short Course World champs and 2 world records this past weekend means something is going right.

  • @justbig Amazing, I agree with you it is not necessary to have a pretty gym the gold medals are the evidence, great job.

  • you gotta go out there and wack that tire with a sledgehammer!

  • 5% of his training is strong man lifts, his strength coach was a strong man, some of his workouts get to be 2 1/2 hours long

  • @Swimbyrd It's more like 25-33% if you want the truth...

  • Cos I didn't know that swimmers doing strongman exercise anyway how many times he do that per week?

  • @jimmyuk007 He hits weights 3-4 times per week with the strongman session on Sundays.

  • @justbig 3-4 times per week? mmm cos most swimmers doing twice or three times a week and Sundays were typical day off but Ryan didn't mmm when he have day off cos body need recover effieciently

  • @jimmyuk007 Last time I checked Ryan wasn't most swimmers.

  • @justbig that was the freshest thing i've ever heard lmao

  • @justbig 3-4 times a week? mmm most swimmers doing twice or three times a week and other thing is he doing it on Sundays as Sunday are typical day off to swimmers so when he have day off to recover body efficiently?

  • I am sorry Justbig, That person is Ryan Lochte 100% - I am surprised that he doing strongman workout for swimming mmm

  • @jimmyuk007 Why surprised? It's light to moderate power training for his hip extension. Elite level athletes need variety. And how can you argue with his results at Pan-Pacs?

  • @justbig mmm true - its just that I hasn't see that swimmers doing that like Ryan etc

  • He's doing almost world's srongest man type stuff.

  • @aquarianbabe He is doing strongman training with light to moderate weight for moderate to high reps. It's great for his hip extension which is important for starts, turns, and underwater kick.

  • @justbig I love those competitions. I checked out your other vid and saw the tire flip. AWESOME. Those dudes who do that are massive. My favorite, not because of his name, is Zydrunas Savickas. That's pretty cool that you train with Ryan. I could stand to be a bit stronger myself, but I don't know if being a 5'2 female with bulging muscles would be all that sexy. lol

  • this is not ryan lochte

  • @swimmer4ever200687 so, mr. knowitall, who is it then?

  • @swimmer4ever200687

i dont know whos that guy name , but am sure this is not ryan lochte + may be this fitness program is awesome for explosive power and raising your test. levels , but this is not lochte :) .

  • @swimmer4ever200687 It's Ryan. You can believe it or not. Doesn't really matter what you think. There is an article coming out in Men's Health about what we do with Ryan. Take care.

  • @swimmer4ever200687 this is 100% percent Ryan Lochte..

  • Yes sir. thats a compliment. Tebow is the best college football player and from UF.

  • Your swimmers train like Tim Tebow then. I have never seen swimmers of my university are doing power workouts such as clean. They might need to start adding power workout to their menu like UF swimmers.

  • @619reggie no they do not train like Tim Tebow. They train like world class swimmers. I'll take that as a compliment though! :)

  • Does he do power clean, hang clean and snatch? I like his blue and orange shoes though. Gator color.

  • @619reggie He does cleans out of the hang and off blocks. No snatches. I don't let any of my swimmers snatch just because of the shear volume they do in the pool and I don't want to add that stressor to the joint. I have our divers snatch though.

  • This is like football players' workout man. He is working out his explosion!!!! To play any sports needs explosiveness.

  • @619reggie It's really good for his backstroke start and underwater kicks. And the mental challenge of these types of workouts prepares him for the 200 and 400 IM. Thanks for the post!

  • Fuck ye.

  • I took a screen shot of him lifting the tire and put it on the background for my iPod and told everyone it was my dad ( i'm 13 so boyfriend would be hard to pull off) it worked for a lil

    bit :)

  • xD an alternative practice... =P

  • dude fuckin beer kegs!!!

  • @exlm right after he finished `em too

  • cool shoes!

  • jeaaah!

  • Jurandoooooooooooooooo!!!! Jeah!
