the makeup is a little light but i still think she looks beautiful. my face is naturally lighter than the rest of my body so i get comments all the time but it looks natural and still gorgeous.
I feel like I just watched you turn your face from goddess-great-complexion, to what the hell did you do to your face i cant imagine you should look so great in person with all that foundation... its way too light... your skin color is gorgeous and your face is already beautifully highlighted and you ruined it ):
You do ur makeup so well. Usually young women don't have enough experience to do it that well. The skin make-up is a bit too light for your complexion, but it could be the lights too. I am light-skinned and it is hard to find good products. White products are too light and a lot of black products can be ashy on me. So I go to a specialist and have one made for me, it's great!
The makeup is too light but maybe its because this video was posted in the summer & she had a tan. If you see the difference in my pictures from the winter/fall/spring and compare them to the summer, my skin gets like 2 shades darker from being at the beach in the sun all summer.
American and my hair is about the same length ... Also take a look at kimmaytube her hair is even longer so what I'm trying to say is African American women hair will grow but it's all about how you take care of your body and your hair
@glamtwinz334 yea thanks lol u guys r so pretty and i love ur videos its hard to find makeup tutorials for african american girls on youtube and i really enjoy ur hair and makeup tutorials and i didnt want to be offensive because some people would take offense to that so thanks for answering:)
I have a question and by all means i dont mean to be rude or inconsiderate but r u guys mix because your hair is so curly and long and im African American and my hair looks nothing like that just curious u dont have to answer if you find it too personal or offensive
@asanders1989 Don't feel like you're being offensive. As black people, our hair generally doesn't grow as quickly. It's genetics. We can do things to retain the length we do get, but that's all we can control.
No 'black' hair grows just as fast as any other groups... at least from my experience. Cultural hair practices is the main reason blacks don't seem to have as long hair lengths as other groups. (relaxers, excessive heat styling, weaves etc.)
@Peachesfolife@JamaicaBrazil89 your completely correct, there is a misconception that black hair doesnt grow, when it does grow just like everyone elses (just look at how fast an african american male hair grows, and they pretty mucch only ever use shampoo and conditioner), its as simple as identifying your hairs weaknesses, finding a product that treat those areas, and maintaining a healthy hair regimen, my hair has grown past the middle of my back, and im mostly black!!!
@JamaicaBrazil89 I knew someone would disagree and that's perfectly fine... but that's not necessarily true. I wouldn't make a bold statement like that if I hadn't studied/researched hair for years.Genetics and hair care routines play roles in hair growth. Black people's hair generally grows slower than white people's hair does. Of course, there are always exceptions to every rule. If different people have different hair growth rates then it makes sense that certain groups of people may
@JamaicaBrazil89 experience generally similar hair growth rates. I believe it's possible for a black woman to grow her hair as long as she wants it. Our hair just requires more upkeep. That doesn’t necessarily mean white people have better hair. A lot of them don't care for their hair and it shows in the overall look of their hair, but their hair just generally happens to grow faster... but you are definitely right about the relaxers, heat, and weave inhibiting our hair growth. Our hair tends to
@JamaicaBrazil89 thrive when it's kinda left alone to grow naturally as whites allow theirs to do... Cool username by the way. Lol. And I guess I shouldn't make statements like that because people may assume I'm implying that we just can't grow our hair to long lengths which is not true. Nobody should think like that.
@JamaicaBrazil89 That's only part of it. The truth is our hair is more fragile and brittle, so it might not grow more slowly, but it does break more easily.
Highly textured (coily/curly) hair usually breaks due to mechanics (improper/rough combing/brushing), chemicals (or excessive heat styling), and/or lack of moisture (conditioning). Those are the top 3 reasons why ALL hair (types/textures) breaks (my opinon). So the focus needs to be on appropriate care and styling not "our" hair being more fragile/brittle (questionable?). I think that negative comparisons like that discourage alot of people who could easily reach their goal.1<3
@JamaicaBrazil89 Your first 2 statements are correct. Despite its fragility, I successfully grew my hair to mid back length. I just don't see why we have to be PC and lie about the obvious. Yes, everyone's hair can suffer mechanical or chemical damage. However, my hair is more fragile / brittle than that of the average Caucasian / Asian. It just is. If I didn't face that, I wouldn't have accepted that I had to reduce manipulation, protective style and moisturise in order to grow my hair long.
It's not about lying or being PC, it's about focusing on your area of concern. My concren is what I need to do with MY hair to get the results I want. It's common sense that I cannot handle my coily hair in the same way as someone with straight hair. There is no need to face or accept anything. You make it seem as if those with coily/curly hair NEED to make this comparison in order to understand and successfully care for/grow their own hair which is far from the truth.
@JamaicaBrazil89 I don't totally agree with you....I relaxe my hair every six months and my hair grows really fast...it depends how you treat your hair that helps what nature has given you.............
the makeup is a little light but i still think she looks beautiful. my face is naturally lighter than the rest of my body so i get comments all the time but it looks natural and still gorgeous.

There is nothing wrong with relaxers, the problem is the improper care of relaxed hair (and sometimes the improper use of relaxers themselves).
