  • this is disgusting first that cage is way to small second the bird is plucking its feathers this is animal torture/cruelty the owners need to be in jail

  • Your bird needs a larger cage and some toys. Try reading up on parrot care, Im sure you love your bird but you are making some obvious mistakes in her care

  • AND, if you knew anything about birds you would know that most female birds pull at their chest feathers regardless of whether or not they are pluckers. It's a motherly instinct to line their nests with their own feathers. Besides, some birds just pluck and no matter how much care you give them. It's like a person bitting their nails.

  • @shutupand bleed. Most of what you say is correct however misguided. I dont believe this bird is being purposely mistreated but the owners are sorely in need of some education in parrot care. Especially when it comes to a large macaw such as this one.

  • You know, you really should not be patronizing this birds owner until you know the entire situation. I agree, this cage is small, but a bird who spends most of their time outside of the cage doesn't need a huge cage. You have no idea how often this bird is actually inside of the cage and it's not fair of you to be bashing the owner without any knowledge of the situation.

  • You have a 20,000 dollar parrot in a cage that isn't even suited for a cockatiel. If you're going to own a parrot of any kind at least know how to care for it. It's cage is too small and he's plucking because of it. Despite what you may think it's cruel and inhumane.

I agree with HerTinyBones. Live in a closet and that's what you're doing to this poor bird. Either take care of him or rehome home because you're clearly not fit to be a temporary home let alone a forever one.

  • LOL

  • Well the size of the cage actually isn't too too bad, but it's *round*. That can cause major psychological problems with birds. Your bird will also need more toys than that. I don't think the cause of the feather plucking is the size of the cage as others are suggesting but rather its shape and the lack of toys.

  • I can't believe you even put these videos of this poor bird up here. People like you disgust me. You have her in a VERY small cage and she is plucking her feathers. You have no right to own this bird.

  • good footage

but you should really give her a bigger cage

  • Oh my god, this IS the cage you keep her in regularly. That's terrible. I agree with Kito109654. It looks like she's plucking. That can be really serious. Put her in a proper sized cage right away. That's the same as you living in a fucking closet.

  • @HerTinyBones

FIRST OF ALL, MY BIRD HAS NEVER PLUCKED HER FEATHERS - WE JUST MOVED FROM ANOTHER STATE AND THIS WAS A TEMPORARY CAGE THAT WAS LOANED TO US UNTIL HER AVAIRY ARRIVED. SHE IS USUALLY FREE IN MY HOME WHEN WE ARE THERE AND WE LOVE AND TAKE CARE OF HER BETTER THAN MOST PEOPLE TAKE CARE OF THEIR KIDS!!! SO JUST BACK OFF - YOU PEOPLE THINK YOU KNOW IT ALL !!!!! SHAME ON YOU FOR BEING THE JUDGE AND JURY!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh no. Is he a plucker?! Get him in a proper cage!

  • cute bird but dont u think dat cage is a bit too small
