I plan however to make it in 2 years flat..

thats almost impossible to do. you need several months of leadership, a year and a half. and an eagle scout takes an average of 6 months to complete. Plus not to mention merit badges, and accomplishing the other ranks before starting your project.

being an eagle scout just doesn't sound too exciting or like it's even a great accomplishment--- but maybe it's just me.

It's just you. If you had to go through (or watch scouts as I have) all the Leadership time, projects they have to organize. All the community Service time.. Then you would understand why only 2 out of every 100 Scouts get it.

you can definately get eagle at 13, if you put your mind to it..I got mine at 13 (2002)

truthgonebad. I know of two who did it when they were 13. It isn't easy. I know of one Scout who had the requirements at 13 but didn't pass the Eagle BOR because he really didn't understand why he should be an Eagle Scout. One I met did understand it and did his best to prove it too. Congratulations.
