Lee may not be the best QB, but he has the ability to run and can pass, and that is what makes him the best option that nebraska had all season. Green is going to be a great player, but his passing needs to be worked on and he can't recognize defensive coverages and blitz packages as well as Lee, and that is a huge disadvantage. There will be a change, but i'd rather that change not be done too hastily

great opener for the huskers. watching other games on saturday, most teams had enormous breakdowns (ohio state, oklahoma) not only with plays and players, but fundamental breakdowns. i didnt see that very often on saturday from the big red. there are things that they defnitely need to work on, but one thing that can't be put into stats is young talent. it's like we have a team full of rookies that you put in to break up a no hitter, that's dangerous.

lord was never supposed to be our qb, he was a WR playing QB carl crawford was supposed to be the qb, but he was a first round draft pick in baseball coming out of highschool and took the money.

Actually, Arky St. is probably the best of the 3 sunbelt teams we face. They have a terrific backfield and a decent D. Still, it will be the same result as we should get all those little mistakes corrected before Saturday. We doubled the spread against FAU, I would have to think ASU keeps it a little closer just because their offense and defense seem to be clicking. NU 45 ASU 17
yea after i made that reply i did some looking into ark. st and found i was dead wrong...nebraska will have a hard time wit their running attack and their defense line. id be happy wit a 45-17 win
great game! FAU isnt a real good team but id say they are just as good or better than western michigan was last year, so were making progress. helu looked absolutely phenominal, showed big time explosiveness and speed. burkhead showed he could be a quality back up as well. gilleylen surprised me, maybe hes coming of age. hell be the top dog at WR once paul leaves. zac lee looked solid as well.
