wow ur atheist? hmmm mixed feelings...I am a believer in God. and I'm proud of it. i respect your opinion about being a non-believer, but I just don't agree with it.
Awesome video Joey mate, I am a bit like you in that I think the every day things we do are amazing and I certainly think we as people take so many things for granted. I mean you take getting dressed in the morning after you shower, you just do it and then get on with your day. That used to be the same for me, but now I need help doing something as simple as putting on my socks, getting into the shower and other simple things. It is good to question things. All the best mate
what about our medical technology, how we can bring someone back who is on the verge of death, or how we can nurture a 2 pound baby to become a healthy thriving baby in a few weeks, that is truly amazing.
i think some of your questions are applicable however some you need to accept because of what we are ! (Try looking at the christian religion) for e.g the question about then pen, you need to look at it from a moral point of view that its there for the convienience of being able to scribe our thoughts!
TRUST ME DONT ASK "WHY"
ASK "HOW" ITS FAR MORE INTERESTING AND YOULL GET A LOT MORE KNOWLEDGE FROM IT . . .
wow i completly 100% love what you are talking about i like the fact that you actually think about this stuff and post it... i think you should deffinatley post more"why" or "how" videos. they are so interesting
sorry couldn't resist, the way your fingers move to type on a keyboard is because your brain recognizes what you need to type, then receptors in your brain send a signal down a membrane in your body to your wrists, hands and fingers' muscles thus telling them how and where to move and press. This process is repeated for every key you want to press in a split second, amazing IMO
Prety much Its lots of people who know lots about little things putting ideas together that make these amzing things happen. Its not complicated when you brake it right down.
There isnt any sound in the wire its just different levels of electricity that travel to a magnet which when powered it changes its magnetism. The strength of the magnet moves a peice of metal connected to a surface that pushes air which creates sound waves. It works the same in reverse which is why you can use a mic as a speeker and a headphone or speeker as a mic. Th only difference is the direction the current or 'electricity' moves in.
Interesting thoughts... I often think about things like this. Sometimes I think about how much we might be wrong about, like the big bang, cancer, etc. Just a few hundred years ago people thought the earth was flat and everything revolved around it. What will we know in 2100? 3000? Will we even live survive that long, or will global warming or a pandemic cause us to go extinct? Why are we here, and what are the chances that we were born as humans on planet Earth? I'm running out of room so...YEP
It sounds like you need to become an Engineer, to be honest. You sound like one of us. haha. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Iowa State, who thinks identically to you.
One thing, sound doesn't travel through headphone jacks. Electricity is used, and sent to the headphone where electrical energy is transformed into sound energy, through the use of magnets and a diaphragm. But, like everything else, more questions can form from.
It all comes down to ONE question: What came first: the chicken, or the egg? lol, jk!
I often wonder about what if nothing exists, and we are all dreaming, or part of someone else's dream. Pretty crazy there is no way to KNOW that everything...is.
Also, I'm a Catholic so I don't believe in reincarnation, but I do still think about it. I mean, what if I were George Washington in a past life, or maybe I'll be the first 2 live on Mars in a future life.
And to think our amazing and extremely complex bodies (and the rest of the universe) were created by an explosion billions of trillions of years ago? I don't think so.
Well, anyway, great video Joey! It's certainly very interesting how we take such complex things, such as the keyboard I am typing with, for granted.
Freaking jeez Joey. You're such a crazy intelligent and interesting person. I was just thinking earlier today about glue and how it's adhesive after I saw Eugene's video.
My favorite question that is honestly difficult to think about: What if nothing ever existed, ever? No planets, no universe, no stars, nothing! Crazy, huh?
Haha thanks Giles, I am not intelligent at all, I just like to think about things. Your favorite questions happens to be mine too. While thinking that I also thought about this, what if, this huge universe we live in, is actually really small, and we are the inside of a snow globe, so small, with other planets and life looking in at us. Weird thoughts! Thanks for watching man, and glue, HOW DOES IT STICK?! Hahaha.
Thank you for watching Luke, and I do plan to do a video on religion, I just hope not offend anyone. I think you are 100% right, it is a touchy subject because some people may not be open to other religions. Each and every religion has its way of faults and truths, and way to look at it. But, I will talk about that in the video! Thanks for watching, take care man.
every non-organism, everything that has ever been, is, or ever will be in existence. It's hard for me not to sound bias, but it is because I truly believe in Christianity. I think it's wonderful how deep you're thinking and I am going to pray for you tonight, whether you do or do not believe in God, I am going to pray for the Holy Spirit to open your heart to God.
Thats what I love about religion, is everyones views. How people can live their lives by something that they think is real, or may not be real. I grew up a christian, and I still go to church every sunday just because i like to learn about religions, I actually hope to soon start going to sinagog's and other places of prayer just to learn about other religions. I am glad you believe in your beliefs and take note and care about it. Thanks for watching and have a nice day man!
Of course it doesn't make sense, but that is because God is so wonderful and mysterious which just makes you want to marvel at how wonderful he is and how he hasn't stricken any random person down because he has created a purpose for every organism, Again, I hope no one takes this the wrong way. I do not believe I or this is better or the best. I just want to express my beliefs as you asked. I hope I have provided you with some more insight to your thoughts.
I am 15 and starting to become a Christian, and I don't know too much history and I don't want to offend anyone when I say this or make anyone look bad, but things did not just pop out of space and become certain things. There is a higher being beyond comprehension.
wow, this video is definitly awsome lol, your right about everything here, i have soo many things to say in this comment, but wont be abble to fit it all in lol, so im going to some it up that just say that this video is great, and i agree with you, and even i never though about this stuff untill watching youre video, the only thing i dont agree with is the religion part, i think i could put up a very good debate, we should debate that topic one day, it would be fun lol
this is where we need to thank those who made our life easier. people have sat here and made things and thing people have followed it by making it simpler and making it more useful.. example the home phone turned into a wireless phone, then came the pagers, then came the cell phone, then came the smart phones, next the iphone
Zidane2479: I am gay because I believe in something? Because I do not go through life without wondering how we got here, or how our day to day things work? Thats how I am gay? So my sexually is determined by one interest I have? Where are you getting this measuring tool of how to determine if someone is gay? I wish you luck in life.
