The Devil Came From Kansas, in cui probabilmente vi sono riferimenti a credenze relative al Monte Stull nel Kansas dove, secondo la tradizione, risiedeva il demonio (cultura ebraica di Keith Reid)
This is really a masterpiece of apocaliptic poetry and sharping glory music to me. Always me wonder how Keith and Gary could find such a high level of rapport for years. It's a magnificent example of stereo sound burning around my ears and the perfect way to learn simple secrets from an artful composition. Kansas? Never mind...
Saw procul harum in 1972 in nashville at a school auditorium. I read somewhere that John Lennon said in other words that"you really have to listen to Aa Whiter Shade of Pale on Lsd" ... I don't condone the use of drugs however.
PC, the first art rock band.??........smoked some of the worst iowa ditch to this album and some of the best napalese hash........
we cut down hundreds of pounds of iowa ditch, put it in steamer trunks flew it to logan and sold the shit to dumbass redsox fans, 30 years before the red sox were cool....we can back to iowa with lots of $ and found great weed and osley and sunshine...
@middledge i know its been a year but maybe you'll read this. how much worse,HOW MUCH WORSE can it bethan the stuff the govt grew in northern Indiana to make ropes for the Navy in WWll? Unless its the same shit. I smoked a garbage bag full of that crap in 1973 and all I got was a bad cugh and ahell of a head ache.

hey jack...Iowa ditch, was the same gov't hemp grown for WW11 rope as the stuff in Indiana, Kansas and probably all over the mid-west....Ditchweed was the worst, but in 1968, (un)remorseful college guys would machete it down at night, and steamer trunk load it off to the dumbasses at Harvard.....
Fortunately today, the fine hubolt county herb is readily available, and the devil came from Kansas still sounds killer.........
I DID IT!!! I FINALLY got away! From now on I will have to be dragged, kicking and screaming across the California state line! When I stopped my car in Needles, I actually got out and kissed the ground. I LOVE my home state. I guess sometimes we have to lose something for a while before we can truly appreciate it.
Was Supernatural inspired by this song? seriously...

Please don't make me sing that song again. These boys could play. And the lyrics are spectacular.
