  • um, no they didn't. Stoneheng dates from 3000BC, celtic culture appeared in Hallstatt Austria in about 1000 BC. The people of the British isles were never known as celts either until the 17th C! Genetically they are more related to peoples of Atlantic western Europe.

  • Bad research! Stonehenge was built by pre-Celtic inhabitants of Britain, and while these pre-Celtic cultures may have been assimilated into the Celtic mix, we can't say that the people who built the monoliths were Celts; therefore, it's not the same culture that sacked Rome, as stated in the video. This is crap!!!

  • I didn't know that there was anybody on britain before the celts. Weren't they on the scene in france before the end of the ice age and also the first ones back on the dirt after the ice left?
