I dont know why but I found that very funny. You just got to love Bing and Bob when they are together! :)

What makes the Road movies a cut above other comedies of their time (or even now) and so thouroughly funny/enjoyable, is all the fun inside jokes that Bing and Bob slip in there. Their running commentary ( ie--"We're bound to meet Dorothy Lamour") is equal parts satire too--not just gags--though there are plenty of those, too. The audience is in on the fun. So hilarious. Woody Allen says Bob was one of his greatest inspirations.

They did not hate each other--they even lived together in England when they were making a 1961 film and were planning a film when Bing died in 1977. Bing would not have been jealous of Hope.
