The kid isn't only singing, but he's the one playing the drums in the sample, while his dad is the one on the guitar. The way Dilla chopped this sample up...*smh*, it's just not fair. All Dilla added was the hand clap and the "whirry" sound, everything else he chopped up amazingly. Trust me, this sample barely sounds anything like the way Dilla chopped this up to be other than the singing part.
