  • Thanks for the review friend.

  • How's this bag doing now? Is it good for long term duration?

  • there's also the 250

  • How can you put a tripod in it?

    Nice video btw =D

  • great vid man!

one question.. is there any way to fit a small tripod in there? or maybe with some attachment?

    thanks again!

  • @rainwaterfall Sorry for the slack in response, I no longer have a video camera and mixed up busy. I have two ways I attach a tripod, one is lengthening the lower flap secure straps and and cinching them down over the tripod across under them, I would only do so with a light, carbon fiber tripod. Second method is using two short ball&loop bungees, one on the carry handle to the head of the tripod, then the other bungee through the cinching straps again and over the tripod legs.

  • nice bag :0 and nice Oly gear :) 12-60 +50-200 SWD ^_^

  • only thing i don't like is it doesn't have a tripod mount. but it looks like you can use the mesh pocket on the side bottom combined with some bungie cord on the top could substitute

  • hello! what do you call that small pouch that you add on at the strap?! you said, you bought it separately? how much?! thank you sir... god bless.

  • Hi! How many lens do you can insert in fastpack 200?

  • @AngelusFromHell Damn, sorry for my english.

  • prica ka da je sa Miljevaca :)

  • I used the 250 and even that one is useless if you have more than 1-2 lenses.

This one holds 1 tele or maybe 2 smaller lenses, 3:15. It is a bad design. Even in '08 there were better ones. The space in the main compartment for the camera is huge so unless you carry a 1DIII your cam is going to fly around, you cannot fully customize the walls either as NOT all has velcro. All in all there are better ones from Kata, Naneu or even from Lowepro.

  • thanks for that great review .... thinking I might buy it soon

  • will it fit a Canon 30D with battery grip? I have the fastpack 100 and its very tight.

  • this backpack was waterprof?

  • @bilikhijau175 Water-resistant? yes, water-proof? no. Sorry for delay in reply.

  • Best Lowepro review on the Tube. Your review was even more extensive than the manufactures short video. Thank-you for taking the time to make this video. I have made my choice based on this video to buy this product.

  • also, could i fit a 18-300mm zoom lens in the same compartment as the camera?

  • @RiverJH95 Sorry for so long to reply. for answer to both questions, It depends a little, some lens brands depending if they use built in anti-shake can be larger and use more space. I get away fine using my camera on its battery grip, and 50-200mm ontop the 1.4x teleconverter, and you can space the other compartments as you like moving the velcro panels, check local camera shops, there is also the 250, and 300 larger sized models.

  • Do you think its possible to fit a slr, and fit a bigger lensed point and shoot, at the same time?

  • Thank you for the video. Very helpfull!

    Cheers!

  • at about 6:24

  • Sure was, our old Goosey, she is older than I am, her parter, our male died some years ago, she still gets around fine being a goose late in her twenties. I live around pasture areas with horses and all other kinds of animals. Glad that is more noticed and not my excitement of finding a PEN! in my bag, god I stink in my own videos.

  • was that a goose in i could here in the background?

  • ya that makes perfect sense thnx man

  • do you think the bag is safe though? i mean against people stealing your gear in crowded places like cities or busses or a subway?

  • It's going to be no safer than anything else, you are only as vulnerable as you allow yourself to be. It doesn't need to look like a camera bag to be targeted, any bag can contain items of value, so it is only as easy to steal as you let it be, there is greater chance one can just grab your camera from your hand and run. Mark your equipment to be identifiable or insure it.

  • Very good review! I like the top compartment storage vs the flipside which may be more secure but no extra room in the bag. The other one looked at is the Kata 3n1-20 but it is a lot more money.

  • So far the bag works great for me still. I worked a way to carry my Tripod on the back also. I have more videos in the works, just trying to drop weight first cause I gained over the semester, plus busy doing video/photo for a few bands.

  • I'm curious, how did you fit your tripod to it? I'd really like to know!

  • I second that!. Please post new videos!

  • ApertureWolf, thank you for this review,

I was about to order a flipside, but liked the idea of a Fastpack access more, and since watching you video, I've got one on its way in a few days!

    Thanks.

  • I ordered the fastpack 250 for my air travels. I think it is the total solution unless you want to carry two bags instead of one. One for the laptop and one for the camera. Now the fastpack 200 or smaller bags are good for taking around on any day of the week.

  • good informative video, thanks. I just ordered the 250 as I need to carry my laptop aswell.

  • does the bag have a hard surrounding so if you drop it the lens will be safe?

  • Its not hard shell no, just hard foam dividers. Its dropped a couple feet already when getting it out of my SUV and was fine, not going to go throw the thing haha, but small bumps and drops it should be just fine.

The top section I would worry more against strikes. but the lower half is pretty well padded and secured.

  • And the lower part is where the actual camera is stored so that's a good thing.
