  • Seeing all these performers makes me think what went through their heads considering millions of people watched every move they made.

  • Yay! Lang Lang!

  • This is UNBELIEVABLE!!! The Brits are going to have some serious problems topping THAT!

  • This is AMAZING!

  • where is jackie chan?

  • OMG SHUIUT UP YOU BRITISH BITCH I HOPE SOMOENE TOLD HER YAPPING MOUTH AFTER

  • dictatorships pull off great shows. but still, indeed what a show it is. incredible display

  • @frednolasco Not all dictatorships are effective. But those who "pull off great shows" also pull together strong armies to fend off wolves who come to devour and exploit their country. A pack of drooling wolves have been watching this effective dictatorship w/ bitterness and hatred b/c they can't continue their exploits in that country like before.

  • @frednolasco When you have 4 billion peoples watching you live, with all major leaders flown into the stadium, any responsible and capable host will do utmost effort to put a great show for this important event. There is nothing to do with politic.

  • I almost cry when the music enter into 2:15 .... MAGNIFICIENT!!!!

And that beautiful girl at 2:38.

  • China will be the only place in the world to have such a population to pull off such an amazing performance(:

  • These anouncers were just as unprepared for what was to happen as the rest of the world...the woman could appreciate the beauty because of her own short comings,,,we will never see the likes of this again,

  • if only the hosts hadn't insisted on blabbing all the way through this magnificent show.

  • The classical Chinese music being played in Vienna Golden Hall:

Spring Blossoms on a Moonlit River 春江花月夜

    watch?v=zDk8vqr6MjI

  • @humourlayers yes you are right! i am a chinese this music is very touching

  • Wow, the female commentator is SO SO wrong. It's not Kunqu at all... it's a pipa piece and poem, both of which are called "Spring, River, and Flowers on a Moonlit Night".

    Also, she cannot pronounce "much".

  • @osric9988 she pronounces "much" just fine.

  • the 2 hosts are sooo annoying ! why don't they just put subscript instead of talking ?

besides the woman made mistake of introducting the dynasty

  • @22572008 so true, hahahaha "progressing through several dynasties", if she knew anything t all about Zhang Yimou, she'd know it'd only really be set in the Tang dynasty.

  • beautiful song 2:18
