I want to play airsoft, but the 3 places in mn are like 1 hr. away in minneapolis, 2 1/2 hrs. in some place and 1 1/2 in some other place. Its so much cheaper than paintball and I want to play over the summer.
Being stealthy is a very good thing, but once you've made contact, communication is much more important since everyone knows you're there anyways. I think they were doing well, like tomtubridy's comment says.
I dont know about airsoft, but in MOS training we were told to tell other Marines what we were doing, mainly because the chances that the enemy understands English is low.
contact means you are being engaged and you are suppose to yell out for example contact left right or rear and distance or contact 12 0 clock 100 meters
yelling and screaming tells the enemy where you are and what you are about to do real life radios and or arm and hand signals are uses or because you do it all time because automatic don't have to announce what you are doing but depends your team's s.o.p. and t t ps (tactics techniques and procedures)
when my team does camoless drills (a few matches wearing bright red or blue) we yell a lot just to intiminate the oponents. they already know where we are so... just a psycological effect for when your not having any camouflage. or do a battle cry if your charging someone
i see yeah that will fuck witht he opponents heads bright orange screaming at running at them good tactic just like ii naomasa dressing all his warriors in red armour very good
i only do that for squad vs squad games in my unit. never against other teams. get the the people to stop relying on camouflage and refines tactics. our team does a lot of stealty stuff and it cant be our only backup plan
ok so u SCREAM ur moving. dont u think ppl will be like " oh he's out of cover, lets shoot him?" dont think its such a good idea. didint hear the other team yelling.
wow i have to agree this team would be so easy to take out they are all giving out their position with yelling. a sniper and a couple k3 is all that is needed to kill this whole group of people
good training exercise and also good team. ive just got into a team here in athens so far were12 (in just 1 week) and the test to join the team is just brutal
Hey 1 you dont know that they are trademarked and if they wernt they an oganized group. So you still need permison in some legal regards. But I understand what you mean.
the correct term is slow is smooth smooth is fast. By being patient and making sure of your shit it moves smooth when it moves smooth it goes quicker than a cluster fuck
Dude I'm in Minneapolis too. I've looked everywhere and there is nowhere to play. I think if someone opened up a place here near the twin cities it would be really really successful. I've thought about opening one up a lot but I don't know where to start, or where to get the $.
To all you who say "It's too slow!" and "A real attack shud be fastur", I've got news for you. You can't just run right up to a machine gun emplacement, you have to take your time, advance slowly, and wait until you have a shot.
i would agree, in the army we were never taught to just sprint towards an entrenched enemy. speed is good, but planning and fluid team movement are key. the one thing i would critique is the lack of cover fire from the more forward elements. without their cover fire, the rear would get shredded trying to move up. but it looks like they are doing a good job to me though.
this was one hell of a day the p90 in the vid belongs to a guy named faust the gun itself was 250 but he has it upgraded with 500 $ in internal upgrades this is at a church camp in hamlake but we come from all over im from west saint paul
Poorly "produced" and photographed. You will get little of value. Lots of gun sounds, trees and jerky camera work. Save your time.

Yes but you can hear the tactics - very well done lads, you put the fear of god in those enemies :)

Pretty poor, you don't get a good view of the action, or see what's going on.

overly101 2 years ago
Heres some tips.
1st: Dont raise your head before you raise you gun.
2nd: use more extraweapons such as Smoke Bombs(saltpeter orange colored are easy and quick to make)
3rd: use more techniques other than just running for your life. Try flanking, fortessing and bunkers.
