  • We're a republic. Not a democracy. We vote democratically, but we are a nation of laws, not mob rule. Everyone from Plato to the Founding Fathers HATED democracy.

  • 03:11-2 No, sir, you are wrong! Capitalism works whiled Marxism is an abject failure.

  • That number in the beginning of the interview is largely meaningless. The number he cited in the beginning, on how 54% of Americans feel that Obama shouldn't be re-elected? Doesn't mean a thing.

It doesn't matter if you feel that Obama should or shouldn't be re-elected. What matters is if he's more electable than his opponent. And who is his opponent going to be?

Mitt Romney. Or Rick Santorum. Or maybe Newt Gingrich.

None of whom can possibly beat Obama. Sorry.

  • Impeach Obama, throw away this Congress, vote Ron Paul.

  • He says we have a lot of work to do, but what work is he doing? Also, how is increasing taxes and giving the government more money helping the middle class grow? If the money isn't there IN THE ECONOMY, then how does the math add up? AND, I might add, when he says an honest conversation, it's my way or the highway, conservatives always try to be honest and get there point across, so if that's the case, what makes them (liberals) "Open minded"?

  • OBAMA 2012!!!

  • obama is a great president, the whole world loves him and that is a FACT, go obama 2012

  • Liar

  • Obama isn't the "GUY" Ron Paul is!!!!

  • Do you trust your government and your politicians? If you do then Obama is your guy. He is for both more government and more control by the politicians. If you don't trust your government, how can you continue to support someone who believes in the things that Obama does. He is for putting us all on a government plantation in the name of equality. When a country puts equality before freedom, you end up with neither.

  • I think the government needs to realize how shitty the education system is. Our technology in High School is shit! We're working on computers that are 10 years old and can't do a damn thing! The entire school's memory for 900 students is 200GB. I can hold 2 terabytes on a external hard drive! The teachers are terrible, you have little choice in classes and the classes are a fucking waste of time but I'm required to go/take them.

    smh...

  • The media always talk about the polls..Who are they polling? Geesh the bottom line is this no matter how much good President Obama has done for this country they will always focus on the negative. He is trying to lead a country without back up from the Congress as a whole. This has nothing to do with bi-partisanship! This has to do with RACE PERIOD!!! They want him to fail! Anything President Obama is for they are against!!! This economy can't be fixed in 4 years. Intelligent people know this!

  • Somewhere along the line this parrot figured out that whistling "s's" when he speaks sounds intellectual. He doesn't do it in normal speaking but when he's trying to sound professorial and lecture us on some brilliant deduction, listen for the whistling "s's". This guy is such a cardboard cutout it's hilarious!

  • @rjspeleton Great observation. We are all better for having fed from your profound insight. So relevant and timely. Thank you.

  • @MrBelldable He is, in fact, a parrot. We know about George W's Scholastic record, We know about John Kerry's grades, We know about the GPA of Bill Clinton. Yet, the "most brilliant mind" we've ever had as a president won't release his grades or his scholastic accomplishments, not one! In fact, after three years I'm still waiting for ANY accomplishment he is responsible for in his entire life...other than "sounding" articulate. He's a cardboard cut-out with half baked Marxist ideals! Very Scary!

  • Will they upload the recent 60minutes with Warren Buffet?

  • How much more he wants to spend? unbelievable!!!

  • Obama, even if we could have a conversation about income inequality, the Dems are just as much at fault as the GOP. Clinton, & the Dems were all for H W Bush's crooked NAFTA. China entering the WTO was Clinton & the GOP. And you yourself, Obama, refuse to level the playing field on these crooked trade deals like you said you would. You even sided with the GOP and refused to go after China on their currency. So what are we talking about here? You can't cut us off at the knees & fix the economy.

  • Holy shit, where the hell did that appeasement crap come from? The GOP are outta their fucking minds. They'll say anything to bash Obama. They don't care about this country one bit, they just want power.

  • He most certainly does NOT appeal to appeasement.

  • "I don't control the weather"

LOL, do you play the HAARP??

  • Obama, I voted for you. You say you're not going to wait for congress and you'll use executive order to get things done. Why didn't you do that for the past 3 years?

  • @chatsworthsharp420 It's not as easy as that. The armament industry has lobbyists who would slaughter any politician that tried to stop it's business. And then there's the good by-product that war spending is gov. spending and any kind of spending stimulates the economy from the increased aggregate demand. Maybe in the future we could say farewell to arms but this isn't the time to stop spending.

  • I like Obama. Congress = blah

  • Anyone who believes that President Obama's ideas to fixing the country is going to work, PLEASE READ HISTORY. This road cannot work out for benefit of the American people. If you don't know history, it is bound to repeat itself. PLEASE READ HISTORY.

  • @254179peep As far as I know, if you read history, you will find that the trickle down theory of economics doesn't work. Lets look at Reagan. The deficit during his period of reign was high. Bush? Well he just speaks for himself. Show me the history where the democratic idea doesn't work. Oh and fun fact: The taxes during Reagan's era were higher than they are now. We have the widest gap between the rich and poor EVER right now, so, what do you propose?

  • @zeldazoo22 - Reduce the size of government significantly. Place a flat tax on everyone. Lower corporate taxes, so that the corporations that have left the U.S. to do business, will come back and employ Americans. Unstrangle business, by allowing the business people of the U.S. the ability to grow, thus emploiying more, thus paying down the record debt level. As to the trickle down effect. It works. All you need to do is some actual reading of history, not just listen to politicians.

  • @254179peep Funny how you reply to my comment by explaining what the trickle down theory is, and not how it works. Yea, it sounds good in theory, but if YOU look at history, you'l find it doesn't work. Explain to me the national debt levels in Reagans and Bush's era. Explain to me Clinton's economic boom. I doubt you can find evidence of it working. Show me. Why should we trust businesses with tax breaks to give back. Just tax them, and they won't need to give back. It hasn't worked.

  • @zeldazoo22 Well those era's can be explained by demographics. And because of demographics, big government (Obama's socialistic plan attempted throughout history, has never worked, or will it ever). Answer this question. As a person, do you welcome someone else forcing their position on you? Human tendency is to rail against it. Thus finding ways to get out of it or avoid it. Are you one ot the 40+% of the US citizens that pay little or no taxes, but want all of the benefits?

  • @254179peep I am not saying that we should trust businesses to pay. What I am saying is that if you make it more favorable to do buisness in the U.S., then the benefits stay in the U.S.

  • @254179peep How do you lower taxes when you've got a Govt. that wants to rule the world Militarily? The GOP are trying to cut protections for the people, which don't = jack as far as spending goes, so they can continue funding their interests - > The Military Industrial Complex. That Pentagon-Pig / bogus war on terror is now costing us 1+ trillion a year. In 2001, it wasn't even 300 billion a year. Look at Ryan's budget #'S, after he robs the piss outta us we'll have debt of 23+ trillion in 2021

  • @254179peep And lowering taxes a bit isn't going to do jack for jobs. These countries that now have our jobs don't abide by trade rules. And we don't enforce them because our corrupt politicians are to busy catering to their corporate friends that have set up shop over there. And we couldn't lower taxes enough to make a difference. Go Google search (Double Irish arrangement Wiki) also read Dutch Sandwich on the same page. They left to stop paying almost all taxes.

  • @HemiHead66 I think that your issue is with chronyism, whether business or political. I agree on that. And Obama is taking care of his chrony's first. This administration will go down in history as being the most corrupt ever.

  • @254179peep Oh yeah, cronyism is the word. But there's no way the Obama administration is more corrupt than the GOP. Do the research taking a neutral stance, the GOP do absolutely nothing for this country. And I mean nothing. Remember those cost cutting Tea-Freshmen you just elected? As soon as they took office they started pork-barreling it up behind Conservatives backs. Even threatened to block Obamas' appointments if he didn't agree to the funding for their pork projects.

  • @HemiHead66 Although a continued exchange with you may be interesting, it will not result in any change of positions on either side. As you did not answer if you were in the 40+% of citizens that don't pay taxes, I will assume that you are there. As for me, I need to complete a business plan that will hire 20 people and pay them $50,000 a year plus. Now that is putting $1,000,000 a year back into the economy. Are you planning on doing anything, or are you a socialist. All the best.

  • @254179peep I gave up taking positions, I want this whole friggin Govt, gone. You can't shine a turd. And you didn't ask me if I was part of the 40+% that didn't pay taxes. But at my last job for about 13 years, Coke, I worked 10 1/2 shifts, two 6 day weeks and two 7's a month. With all that overtime they robbed the hell out of me. And the people that don't pay taxes don't make any money. They're below poverty. But they still pay taxes for SS and shit. How much can you pay making $175 a week?

  • @254179peep As far as your question about "am I planning on doing something, or am I a socialist, I don't have a clue what you're asking me. One things for sure, this is no socialist country. In a socialist country, the Govt. runs the corporation. In this country, the corporation runs the Govt. The ones that run the Govt. get a free-ride. All other businesses, like yours, get the shaft. They can't even compete.

  • @HemiHead66 I think it can be simply put that you just don't want people who make a lot of money to be taxes. Percentage wise, some rich people pay less taxes than middle class people. How does that work. Did you know that a small chunk of the rich people actually make their money? Most of it is inherited! Obviously imposing taxes isn't fun, but if you want to live in a morally good, true America, they should give back. SHOW ME WHERE REAGANOMICS WORKS! I haven't seen it.

  • @zeldazoo22 I don't know where you got the idea that I didn't want people who make a lot of money to be taxed. Did I say that? I want them to pay their fair share. Those big multi-nationals are robbing our country blind. So are most of those Wall Street cronies. Go do a Google search (Double Irish arrangement Wiki) also read Dutch Sandwich on the same page. It's a short read. Those big corp criminals are allowed every tax scheme in the book.

  • Infrastructure spending does not put construction workers back to work that lost their jobs in the housing boom. The people that lost their jobs were private contractors. The people who repair infrastructure are all union workers. Its just another union handout before the election.

  • What a softball interview!!!! If that was W Bush or any other Republican that was president during at time this bad (worst in my lifetime) they would have been grilled.

  • I love this man. He has my vote. He's the only one I trust to run the country. He's the only one who appears to care about the country. The others seem like they are deadset on ripping the country apart.

  • Republicans need to stop crying like little girls. As Americans we should respect OUR president. Americans should focus on working and not on the media brainwashing you to think the governments after you.

  • Someone laughs in the background at 12:43

  • yeah... more blame game. His recovery is slower than promised. Look at his face though? My God that job does a number to your age!

  • ..yeah lets ask all those people you murdered Obama.., ye let's ask them. Fucking traitor, warcriminal hypocrit.

  • @freshhug shutup.

  • @MOXWELLDIAMOND

..you are just as rich as your master.

  • 2:38, black kid on the left picking his nose.

  • The CBS poll: People like Obama... yeah, this poll is obviously a bunch of crap.

  • Annex the middle class into the dependent class, and then no one will have the right to complain about the government. Brilliant!

  • 2:36 HAHA Thats Right You Know What I'm Talking About I'm Not Telling You But Its Implied. HeHe

  • What an idiot, how is "investing" more money on infrastructure and schools suppose to help the economy? Hello Mr.Obama the private sector isn't hiring, ever wonder why? Oh and your stimulus did not work you dishonest asshole.

  • @FireGuyX dimwit, it employs folks. they then have money to spend

  • @tunecchiii fucking moron, you do know that if Obama creates a job program it has to be funded right? And guess where the money comes from? It comes from the private sector, the very same sector that Obama is criticizing. Making people work in infrastructure or some other make work program doesn't do shit for anyone because that's the last thing we need.

  • I'm not smart in politic but from what I know presidents are puppets which will be manipulate by the congress. They don't have that much power but when come down to things we blame the president. I mean the govt makes us look like dumb silly shit. Instead of being mad at the congress, we just point our finger at the president. lol

  • @Suavepebble: ROFL!! You're just NOW noticing Obama's "s-whistles"? Where the hell have you been?

  • This poor guy got an amazing amount done considering the shithead congress he had to deal with. It's not his fault he hasn't done enough to sate our needs -- it's our fault; it's our fault for voting in this man and his vision for our future, but not voting in a congress that would or could support the same vision.

  • @Suavepebble: Were you living under a fk'ing rock Obama's first 2 years? He got virtually all of his legislation thru his Democratic-controlled Congress.

Stimulus (he now admits there's no such thing as a shovel-ready job) ..... Healthcare (has made premiums go thru the roof; majority of Americans opposed) .... Mortgage Rescue (proven failure) .. Cash for Clunkers (cost $24,000 for every $4500 tax credit) ... Dodd/Frank (fk'd up legislation).

    Please grow a brain

  • @2010GOP What are you talking about? Don't pull your right-wing, who-me? obtuse game with me, guy... you know as well as I do that Obama has been shafted by the REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED congress since they got power. The American people have suffered through the Republicans strategy of blocking everything this guy attempts to do to make him look weak. Keep up the Karl Rove game, kid... the history books will not be kind when looking back at these nonsense games you guys play.

  • @Suavepebble: Republicans are 1/2 of 1/3 of Government sworn in less than a year ago!!

HAHAHA!! Holy shit, you're a fking retard!

  • @2010GOP Re-read what you just wrote

  • @Suavepeb: 4 yrs of Democrats controlling Congress, 3 yrs of Obama, and Trillions later:

RECORD Unemployment .. RECORD Foreclosures .. RECORD Poverty Levels .. RECORD Misery Index .. RECORD Food Stamps .. RECORD Net Worth Loss .. RECORD Low Avg Salaries .. RECORD Business Failures .. RECORD Gas Prices .. RECORD Slow Economic Growth .. RECORD Weak Housing Mkt .. RECORD Welfare .. RECORD Low US Credit Rating .. RECORD Inflation .. RECORD Debt .. RECORD Deficit

    A lot done, for sure!

  • @2010GOP none of this is factual

  • @Suavepebble: Sorry sweety ~ those are called FACTS

  • 60 Minutes YouTube vids: The best 360p around.

  • So basically TonyCiel thinks everyone is fed with spoons and everyone should "pray you fucking morons". Interesting.

  • keep the change

  • "Or whoever's left out there... ask them about that."

I got plenty of problems with Obama but that was a BOSS answer!

  • Obama is a stupid man that the media props up and spoon feeds to the people who are inept and cannot think for themselves. Obama should be tried and convicted of treason and the apt sentence should be carried out. What a fucking Moron. And the people that voted for him?? Dumb ass surrender monkeys hiding out in ideaology too stupid to think and too lazy to pray. Fucking Morons.

  • @TonyCiel I find your idiotic comments to be hilarious. Nothing quite so ironic as saying someone is "too lazy to pray" and then calling them a moron. REALLY!? Because prayer is what this country needs? REALLY!? you, sir, should go away.

  • MERAVIGLIOSA AMERICA APERTA AL CIVILE CONFRONTO !!!!

  • more blame game

  • @3DSiXLite its called politics.

  • Look, people should stop looking to the president to solve all of our problems. We have three branches of government for a reason, and that is to make sure there are checks and balances. It is NOT the president's job alone to solve are problems, but Congress's as well. Maybe you can yell at Obama for blaming Bush again, but you can't scold him for not being able to pass what he wants. Just know that the tax cuts for the rich is not the way to go, and as we've seen in the past, it doesn't work.

  • @zeldazoo22 The thing is I don't WANT what he wants to pass, he is an utter failure, stop saying that tax cuts favor just the rich, it favors all Americans. Just know that the so called one percent pay a majority of the taxes. This phony occupy movement likes to pretend they represent the 99 percent, well I am part of that 99 percent and I don't agree with their movement one bit.

  • @H0VA 1 percent of people in America basically hold 95 percent of the wealth. 99 percent of the people hold about 5 percent of the wealth. Its only logical to tax where the greater money is to fix this debt. Why would you not want to tax the rich! Oh and, we have the WIDEST gap between the rich and poor ever. If you look at other countries, (that is, successful ones like Germany,) the rich pay much more than the rich do here. Stop pretending cuts for the rich will help America.

  • @zeldazoo22 Here is the problem, we ARE already taxing the rich, and it is not even working, hence why they pay a majority of the taxes to begin with! I understand they can afford it but they are already paying more of a percentage than any other class.Furthermore do you realize if you put in the tax hikes that Obama proposed,it would ONLY run the government for a friggin week. What the hell is the point of that? Obama is just trying to score political points it doesnt solve anything.

  • @zeldazoo22 Also just to continue onto your point I am SO glad you mentioned Germany because the reason they have been so successful is they have shifted away from a socialistic government to a more capitalistic society. WE are the ones who are delving deeper into socialism. People have tried it before and it NEVER works.

  • @zeldazoo22

I think raise the taxes on everyone and use it to pay the deficit instead of wasting it on war and garbage. The entire system is so corrupted, I think we're too far down and are gonna crash and burn. Its like a cycle of borrowing, printing, and wasting money.

  • @zeldazoo22 Do you really, REALLY think these idiots actually understand how government works in our country? Most don't understand "there", their" & "they're"

They'll listen to to rumors long before they'll take the time to research for themselves!!

  • I love obama. :) This steve kroft guy acted like a dick though

  • @373booga You are a spoon fed Moron.

  • The president has my vote in November. I had a lengthy discussion regarding his record and the record of his recent top opponents and without a doubt, my friends and I are voting to re-elect.

  • @WhereYaBoss Your a spoon fed Moron.

  • 4: 00 Trojan, awesome

  • In the past 2 years, I had forgotten how frickin' intelligent this guys is. Wow. None of the other candidates, aside from Ron Paul, seems as informed, intellectual, and qualified to be in this position. I've met and spoken with both Obama and Paul, and their determination and open-mindedness make them remarkably flexible to such a dynamic job. If it were between those two, it would be a tough election.

  • @railstoruin Your a dumb ass that needs to be spoon fed. I have never read more of a shit for brains than you. Have you ever had depression and thought of offing yourself, it would help the world and stop you from reproducing.

  • @TonyCiel Jesus christ, man! :/

  • @railstoruin WIN WIN (except one will take longer to get out of war)

  • THIS GUY SUCKS WEAK LEADER

  • @ICONLISTENING1 If he is a weak leader, what are you? a better leader?? You go and be the president.

  • @popout886 You are a pathetic spoon fed Moron.
