  • I love her shy little wave at the end, so cute :)

  • she looks 14

  • i do not get it...

why does everyone accuse them about their false age?

firstly they (asians) look a lot younger than their actual age (like myself)

and next, if they are younger , what difference do they make?! the US athletes should be ashamed of themselves as they have more experience yet little kids beat them...

  • @shynazation you obviously dunno much about the sport.. younger children tend to perform better coz they are fearless and lighter.. the moment you hit puberty its hard for u to maintain your fitness in a sport like gymnastics.. age falisifcation has been around for qutie sometime..

  • She is cute as a button and super talented to boot! I can see her making my favorite gymnast list very soon. :)

  • i like her swing (other than the dead hang). and nice double front!

  • OHW what a LOVELY Smile! :)

  • Yes, and that's probably why these accusations started as well but I guess it'll always be there because they don't look like the average aged person. :) Awesome gymnasts though!

  • Yes... it's sad that people still freak out of the age thing. Especially for Deng Linlin. That one bothers me the most because they didn't find any info on her. Pssh... yeah, but just wait, in 2012, people will say Tan Sixin and Cui Jie, as well as other girls, are the incorrect age because they look young and are incredible! Gosh, they are going to own (especially Tan) the gymnastics world!

  • Don't forget Wu Liufang although I think she might be leaning more towards becoming a bars specialist. She's awesome on that apparatus. Tan Sixin's quite an all-rounder. Especially love her beam work. :D

  • Wu Liufang, I could see her as a bars specialist. Her UB is so amazing... it's very pretty. Her form is very Yang Yilin like.

  • her beam is amazing as well

  • Agreed. It's too bad Cui Jie's injured. Her beam was really really good.

  • I prefer her on beam, but shes a great all arounder

    Whats her age?

  • She's 14 this year.

  • I wonder how many people will accuse the Chinese of age fraud in 2012. Tan Sixin and Cui Jie look young for there age... (I'm not saying their age is false, of course! They are definitely the correct age) so we must prepare for the onslaught of age accusations, yet again...

  • What are you talking about.... Tan is look very normal as a 14-year Asian Girl.

  • Yes, sure, but others don't understand that. People don't understand a lot of Asians look quite younger than they are and gymnasts also look younger than usual too.

    That's what I'm talking about.

  • @theghastlypirate A lot of people will If and only if they win. If not the probably no one.

  • @jovani2293 Or if they beat the US.

  • @theghastlypirate Very true. So most likely it is going to happen.

  • @jovani2293 We'll see. 2012 will be interesting. Russia is rocking it right now, Japan has great juniors, US is pretty solid and China is great. It'll be a great Olympics!

  • @theghastlypirate i don't think we need to worry about that if the Chinese team doesn't win

  • @orangegal31 As I said before, it'll all matter if they beat USA or not. The US was the country that made the big stink about their ages.
