this movie has many references in common with one of the greatest sc-fi movies ever made: 2001:A space Odyssey, by Stanley Kubrick, examples: the axiom navigation system is like the HAL computer, the design of the robot EVE has many in common with the space helmets used in 2001, those scenarios with white backgrounds and the space dance that walle and eva make in the mid of the movie, the escape pods are identical to those used in discovery ship, i consider wall-e a very good resemble of "2001"

I knew that WALL-E would have to have at least survived that incident on the escape pod, though I did feel bad for EVE; she could have almost truly hated WALL-E for all the trouble she got her into, but when she thought he was dead for that single moment, she couldn't deny herself how much she really cared about him. Also, she was so happy that WALL-E was alive that she almost forgot to realize he saved the plant as well.

To add to what I just said, I know that a romance film often includes some kind of conflict between the couple of focus, but I'm glad that the one in between WALL-E and EVE never became THAT major of an issue.

The movie was EXCELLENT!! I don't know how to express my feelings towards this movie... I love all aspects of the movie! And I totally LOOOVVEEEE how the lovers call each other ("Wall-EEEEEE!!!" and "EVE-aahhh!!!"). I LOVE how they dance around in the space, and how in that moment Wall-E leans his head under EVE's, and I absolutely fell in love with the ending. BEST ANIMATED MOVIE EVER!!! Pixar FTW!!
