@Ideazonqa You seem to have forgotten that the European, German, and Russian jews do not belong in Palestine. The Palestinian people are defending their land. Pres. Harry S. Truman of the USA had no right to take the lands of one people and give it to another. After WW2 the jews were dumped upon Palestine as a matter of convenience, not because they had any right to be there. If my homeland were invaded I would defend it with all my might, as the people of Palestine have every right to do.
@bryan760 The Palestinians never owned the land. The land belonged to the Ottoman empire, and was taken by the British and French after WW1 and divided. The Arabs lobbied for independence, and so did the Jews. In the Arab lobby, racist remarks such as "The Jews drink the blood of their neighbors" were common. In the end, the British decided to give the Arab population 99% of the land (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, etc), and 1% to the Jews (Israel). Saying the Jews have no right to the region is a lie.
@bryan760 For thousands of years, and up to the declaration of independence of Israel, there has always been a Jewish presence in Palestine. The Arab's agenda was to create a Muslim only territory in the entire middle east and the Jewish western culture hindered that agenda. In 48, Jordan invaded Judia & Samaria and called it the West Bank. It exiled all the inhabitants of that region and called them "Palestinians" - a term which did not exist before.

Many of these people joined Israel, others escaped to Jordan, just to be exiled.

The British Census data for Palestine, as well as League of Nations and other sources recording immigration data, and population experts say that the Palestinians growth was a natural increase. In fact the LoN and Ottomans recorded just about yearly, and it shows immigration in about the 100's. Nothing more. A lot of it temporary too.

Not to mention that they also concluded by estimate that by 1935 or so, that only about 4,000 Arabs came in illegaly.
Even then all over the Eastern Basin of meditteranean there was population growth, not because jews were there. In fact, Sanjak only had the lowest of Arab immigration and most jews

Actually 6% of the land was owned by Jews by 1947, and after the 1947-49 war the Jews confiscated about 88% of the land. Under international law you can not acquire territory by force, meaning that it is illegal and not "bought". The Jewish immigration invaded Palestine and by 1947 Hagana had initiated plan Gimmel, and other brutal attacks against Palestinian villages.

Also, the promises to the Arabs pre-dates those of the Jews. Even when British took the illegal Balfour Decleration serious, in the House of Lords they voted that they wanted to continue the promise with the Arabs rather than the Jews. Even in 1922 the White Paper stated that they didn't want to create a state for Jews, just Jewish presence.

@Ideazonqa The Arabs did not attack first. Ben-Gurion confirmed that preperation for the war began as early as 1945. Their first operation attacking Palestinian villages was a day after resolution 181. No Arab countries came in until May 15, of 1948. Not to mention the fact that ALL battles were fought within the lines that were proposed to be the Palestinian state prior to res 181.
Also, nowhere in law does it say you can acquire territory if they attack first.

He wrote a report in 1947 that Zionist forces are by far stronger and the ALA had no chance, and only held about 3,000, while Haganah in 1946 (before the war) had about 60,000 men.
After many car bombings, attacks on villages in 1947, and about 33 consecutive massacres in 1948, then finally the Arab countries arrived. But it was too late.

Actually, after the 1967 war Israel gave back the Sinai. Other than that they still continue to occupy West Bank, Gaza, parts of Southern Israel, and Golan Heights. Also, after the 1967 Israel didn't back out of Sinai until 1988, so no name of peace. We are not talking about 1967 war but ok?

The Arabs lobbied for independence, and so did the Jews. In the Arab lobby, racist remarks such as "The Jews drink the blood of their neighbors" were common. In the end, the British decided to give the Arab population 99% of the land (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, etc), and 1% to the Jews (Israel). Saying the Jews have no right to the region is a lie.

The Arab's agenda was to create a Muslim only territory in the entire middle east and the Jewish western culture hindered that agenda. In 48, Jordan invaded Judia & Samaria and called it the West Bank. It exiled all the inhabitants of that region and called them "Palestinians" - a term which did not exist before.

Many of these people joined Israel, others escaped to Jordan, just to be exiled.

The British Census data for Palestine, as well as League of Nations and other sources recording immigration data, and population experts say that the Palestinians growth was a natural increase. In fact the LoN and Ottomans recorded just about yearly, and it shows immigration in about the 100's. Nothing more. A lot of it temporary too.

Not to mention that they also concluded by estimate that by 1935 or so, that only about 4,000 Arabs came in illegaly.

Actually 6% of the land was owned by Jews by 1947, and after the 1947-49 war the Jews confiscated about 88% of the land. Under international law you can not acquire territory by force, meaning that it is illegal and not "bought". The Jewish immigration invaded Palestine and by 1947 Hagana had initiated plan Gimmel, and other brutal attacks against Palestinian villages.

Also, the promises to the Arabs pre-dates those of the Jews. Even when British took the illegal Balfour Decleration serious, in the House of Lords they voted that they wanted to continue the promise with the Arabs rather than the Jews. Even in 1922 the White Paper stated that they didn't want to create a state for Jews, just Jewish presence.

Their first operation attacking Palestinian villages was a day after resolution 181. No Arab countries came in until May 15, of 1948. Not to mention the fact that ALL battles were fought within the lines that were proposed to be the Palestinian state prior to res 181.
Also, nowhere in law does it say you can acquire territory if they attack first.

@Ideazonqa I did think. The Arab countries for example had an Iraqi guy Sadwat, help train Palestinian militias, or better known the ALA. He wrote a report in 1947 that Zionist forces are by far stronger and the ALA had no chance, and only held about 3,000, while Haganah in 1946 (before the war) had about 60,000 men.
After many car bombings, attacks on villages in 1947, and about 33 consecutive massacres in 1948, then finally the Arab countries arrived. But it was too late.
