Of all the pressing medical issues her lead advice is a generalization that you don't need 8 glasses of water (which was always intended as general guidance and not an exact "prescription" measurement). Medical malpractice "awards" are high because trial lawyers and people like YOU want to sue because of that big payday. Hey, you didn't go to 8 years of medical school but you should still be able to make the same amount of money right? And by the way it's not the doctors paying you, it's their insurance company. She's an excellent public speaker. She presented to my science class today about obesity/noninfectious diseases and she was fantastic. Really amazing. She kept the class entertained and brought in a lot of hands-on stuff (kids love that stuff). She is VERY knowledgeable and can present detailed information in a very terse and understandable matter. She is also very down-to-earth, which makes it realistic for average people to relate. She is one of the most fascinating people I have ever met.

It's the medical-industrial complex at its worst. I work with late-stage cancer patients and have seen firsthand that these people are pushed into chemo, radiation & surgery by their oncologists even after their cancers start to disappear--even AFTER there is No Evidence of Disease. In the later case, patients are subjected to "just-in-case" treaments. So far EVERY SINGLE death I've seen has been from these barbaric treatments or from euthanasia w/ strong opiates, that stop their heart.
