I have some Letraset pens, too, and I'm terrible with them! It could be because I don't have a variety of colours like you do, but I also find them quite hard to use! I have a suggestion, though. I tend to find that they work better on bleedproof paper.
Thanks for the video tutorials, though! I think I need to be more patient with mine, I end up trying to add shading too early and then the colours blend and look awful D';
@NatheHatake - Lol whoa! Where did that come from? I wasn't trying to be offensive in any way- I think people need to loosen up a little. Smile! Life is short!
where the two colours blend like in the tail where it goes blue-green-blue, how do you get it to look more gradient? i've tried just doing like lines like i see you've done but the lines overlap cause they're really thin and i get other colours, darker ones that sort of ruin it. do you have to try and get between the lines?
It's a scribble technique i use. :3 if you notice in the 2nd [or first..?] video where my blue pen starts to die on me- i pull out the green pen. I made spiky lines that interlaced with the green in the same fashion. BUT THE INK MUST REMAIN WET. Alcohol based letrasets are HARDER to blend when dry.
I'll try my best to put up a tutorial for this later. :3
your good with promarkers, and at drawing ^_^ i ordered some markers so i will be having lots of fun with them soon :) and yh your good at muscles :) xx
I choose to draw what I want... The point of being an artist is having a free spirit.. Obviously- yours is caged.. I appreciate the suggestion of getting inspired and stuff.. But I draw these things for a reason.. Because i feel like it. Thanks though.. Btw- my site has a lot more than this.
i must agree with CliffingtonFalls here, u really should go out and see the world, get inspired by what is happening around you instead of just drawing nude foxes.
i agree with you 100% if he thinks you shouldent draw your fantastic picture ( which by the way is rather inspiring none the less ) its his nieve thinking, youve inspired me to start drawing naked animal wo/men type thingys and it looks like youve had lots of fun drawing it, and youve helped me and others and tbh you shouldent have to explain yourself or your artwork to anyone , let your art do the talking and let me tell you that picture could own a talk show ^_^ keep upthe awsome work
It's much appreciated. I don't listen to anyone who has anything bad to say about my work unless it's constructive criticism. Lol. Telling me to go out and see the world? That's not constructive, nor is it criticism.

@NatheHatake - these markers are supposed to blend. if you want markers that leave streaks, go get a box of Crayolas lol. :3

@kikidemon I didn't mean like that, I just meant they sort of leak into the other colours and look bad :/
Sorry, I guess I forgot we aren't all perfect like you. ¬¬

@kikidemon I thought you were insulting me or something when I was only trying to make conversation.
And I'm not normally irritable, I just misunderstood you. Sorry about that~

what do you mean..? there's people out there that need a few hints. ^^
kikidemon 3 years ago
you're a good artist. i'll give you that. why would you waste your time and talent drawing nude fox-human hybrids?
take a trip somewhere. get inspired. draw something worth drawing.
you have some potential here and you're wasting it drawing this.
