try to get a distortion pedal like in the break down part with the screaming and if you going to do bass try to get a "digitech whammy pedal" sp you can go up and down in octaves like an octave down for the bass and also you can use "G2 zoom pedal so you can switch between many diffent some effects or even add one of about 40 drum beats and speed them up or slow it down, but it was realy good i enjoyed it.

i was actually using a G2 zoom, thats what i use for all my songs. and it has an pitch shifter so I could do bass, but it sounds like shit with my guitar and the amp I was using, so I didnt really add it in. thanks for the tips and comment though. =]

u know how right before the harmonics there is a power chord or bar chord, depending on how u play it?

just make sure your fingers are in the same position (strings 6, 5, and 4, frets 3, 5 and 5.)but dont let the strings touch the fretboard. The base of your index finger should dampen the higher strings. :)

for that you should practice really slowly...and slow down and play the riff as triplets (one-two-three, one-two three. ), its not as fast as it sounds. but near the end of that riff theres a little hammer-on so its not all picking.
