  • This is a wonderful series. Thank you for posting. I great admire the British for keeping their history alive.

  • @LaserBeam002 Me too. In the US they want to destroy its history to keep a certain minority happy. How shameful.

  • Outstanding!! England shows it's History & Preserves it. While most countries demolish, and put up Ghastly Plain Buildings.

  • @Mr1958louief Yes the US is one stupid country that gets rid of good buildings and puts up ghastly buildings. One good example which is in the works is the proposed building of the mosque at ground zero to placate the muslims by replacing the more than 150 year old Burlington building. How stupid of New York to even think of doing that.

  • Interesting, but again it's sad to see them jump from the Prince Regent to Victoria, there was another king from 1830-1837! William IV got a fleeting mention and no more than that.

  • Queen Mary's Dolls' House...WOW...

  • Thank you for posting. I'm disappointed that she didn't even mention the present Monarch, her love of Windsor, Prince Philip's role in overseeing the restoration. It's like she's erased the Monarch during this part. Very disappointing and I can't help but feel that's it's personal - we know her interview with Prince Philip was a disaster. I've been to both Buck house and Windsor Castle. They are splendid - but it's a living Monarch that gives these residences their vitality and spirit.

  • @1867TrueNorth The interview with Prince Philip was a disaster because he was in a grumpy mood and like he said was forced to do the interview. The other interview on occasion of his 90th birthday was great. You can hardly blame Fiona for that. Blame Prince Philip or whatever made him have that bad mood when she was interviewing him.

  • @1867TrueNorth the present monarchy doesn't have rule as in the past. now, these buildings are more british history than residence. i doubt the queen's opinions counted or they really cared for it. i doubt she had any input in the reconstruction. she's an old lady than a queen with meaning

  • @bjornsiborgsi Not at all. The Queen remains the Queen, in privat as in public the living incarnation of the State fully interested in all its manifestations; Windsor Castle non the lesser among them....

  • Thank you so much for sharing these!

  • Can't get enough of this, and i agree Fiona does an amazing job.

  • Fiona does a bang up job in these videos. Very interesting I love anything Britain. Thanks you so much
