  • Thank you . There are c-200 in Roland. I don't understand how to use. So I'd be glad you show this presentation with c-200

  • It still sounds very, very electronic.

  • please, what is the piece he plays at the minute 4:47?, anybody knows?, anybody who knows where i can find the music sheet??....

  • @ascomate

That's the famous Badinerie, by Johann Sebastian Bach. It's part of his Orchestral Suite n. 2 in B minor.

    Peace, mate :-)

  • I have the C-180. Great continuo instrument.

  • Whats the name of the song at the start?

  • @lalahland

That's the Trumpet tune, by Henry Purcell. With organ or orchestral accompaniment.

    Peace, mate :-)

  • PLEAAASE, upload the compelte version of GLoria in Exclesis of CHristmas, PLEASE *-* I love it

  • is it a analog or digital keyboard?

  • @Houseandmore Digital

  • Besides MIDI pedals, can I attach another MIDI keyboard for a second manual?

  • How much is it worth?

  • co to ma być... dno

  • hey brit can you upload toccata and fuga in D minor ??? please i´m very interested of these instrument and i want hear how good sound it have please.

  • Its ok but sounds very electronic, not a patch on Hauptwerk which is in a different galaxy. :-)

  • You are so lucky!

The Pipe Organ is my favorite instrument, but I have never played one.

I'd love to play one, but they're "expensive"!

  • Hi Britt,

Wow, that Keyboard sounds awesome! Very realistic pipe organ simulation!

I have a cheap Yamaha PSR E-213 (Less than 150 dollars) that I use as a MIDI controller connected to my PC to use the Hauptwerk pipe organ software as well as the MyOrgan program as well as the "Mitiditzer" software.

Your demo audio sounded great and since I use the Altec-Lansing amplified hi fi speaker system with subwoofer on my computer, I can really hear the sub bass notes come through! Thanks for the demo!

  • Britt thanks for all of the info on the C-190. I recently purchased one as well as a KC-150 amp and I must say I am quite satisfied. Once again thanks.

  • Hey Britt thanks for the overview of the Roland c-190 I have seen your video and I bought the Key board yesterday :D Thank you and regards from Germany ; )

  • @xxxxlenni93xxxx Very cool! Congrats, it's a great keyboard!!

  • Britt, what do you think about the Roland KC-150 amplifier to work in conjunction with the C-190 and do you feel a sub woofer would be necessary?

  • Very good review, good job!

  • Britt, what brand and size amplifier did you use when creating this video?

  • I actually just connected the outputs of the C-190 directly to the Roland Edirol R-09HR Digital Recorder to capture the sound and used headphones on my head so I could hear the best sound.

  • Britt, in your opinion, is an external amp or additional sound devices necessary to attain an acceptable volume level, or is it awesome all by it self.

  • It's OK for home personal use, but it would definitely benefit by having an amp added to it, mostly to give it more bass.

  • I am waiting for a c330 on youtube.

  • This was an awesome demonstration, any idea where I can purchase a C-190?

  • Is the Gemshorn matched with a Celest? Thanks. Alot of effort was clearly put in in this vid

  • The Gemshorn is just a preset sound. I guess it was matched with Celest, I am not sure though. I don't have this instrument anymore. And yes, thank you for acknowledging the effort. It was a lot.

  • I love your cat disappearing at 3:01 ;-)

  • LOL! Yes, that's KyKy-O. She has to make an appearance in every video I record. Sometimes I remember to put her in a room and close the door, sometimes she ends up on the cutting room floor, other times she has to make her appearance. She says "I am a national star. I have to be seen all over the world!"

  • Thanks for this video. If you don't mind my asking, have you also tried the newer C-230? I'm going to buy a digital positive single-manual 'pipe' organ and am thinking of either the C-190 which I believe is still available, the C-230, or the Viscount Cantorum VI. Any suggestions? And how useful do you think the manual-splitting function really is on the C-190? Thanks Brit!

  • The C-230 just hit the market. I've not gotten to play it, but I watched the videos on Roland and Rodgers websites, and it looks awesome! The C190 was discontinued in 2005, there weren't very many sold her in the U.S., so I think you'd have a hard time even finding a used one. The C-190 split function is alright, it's a bit reversed for what I'd like.

  • what is the name of the song that you played with the flute sound

  • It's by Bach, I don't remember the name of it though, i don't think it was written as a flute piece, but i think it is often played by a flautist

  • tnx

  • thanks for this video!

  • Wow, that is too cool, I didn't know it had so many variations on it. Nice shirt too!!

  • nice cat :o)

  • The organ voices are not as spectacular as a real larger digital organ. But for being a keyboard its pretty amaizing. I also love the orchestral voices. Typical awesome sounds from roland!

  • I'd disagree. It's the same sound sample. I hooked it up to my Roland KC550 speakers, they are 180 watts each, and it is absolutely killer!

  • Very pleasant sounding keyboard :)

  • Awesome!

  • an awsome litte keybord.

that would be just right for the organ music writen in england around 1699

most of that music was writen for single manuel organs. good job britt

the reason i bought my at-30 was beacuse of you demo

    thanks

  • very cool to hear, thanks!
