Just please know that this song is a cover by Peter Gabriel. It is a Arcade Fire song. If you like it at all, go listen to their live or album versions. This cover is not very good. Which tells you a little about how amazing the original is.

I dont know if it is sheer joy. He is an addict who is increasingly unable to feel joy or excitement. He has to risk this just for a few seconds pleasure....and does not care who he frightens. He is no hero.
