I watched and listened to all of it it's well worth watching it's a great dramatic story of the gospel of Jesus that we all live out. Why can't people watch this? are they to much in a hurry to run the rat race?
@CobaltPunter I did, about ten years ago. I didn't watch it all at once, though. I watched it in parts. I had the book (and still do) that goes with the video and I followed along.
Thank you for posting this, my mother bought me a newer version of this story in Comic book form, I can remember reading it as a child, crying and asking Christ to forgive me and save me from hell. God is a loving god, but also a just god, he does not grade on a curve, once the holy spirit convicts your heart only then will u realize that.
I loved this book so much. Made me even shed tears walking through the journey that Christian was going through. I could totally identify with his experiences.
JRR Tolkien was one of CS Lewis' many friends in academic circles at the time; many of them used to write, and gave each other critiques of the works as they were composing them. The group was called "the Inklings".
The Christian members included Lewis and Tolkien, and they deliberately included themes that would prepare readers to understand and accept Christianity, when they later encountered it. This is often called "praeparatio evangelica".
before i actually watch this can someone please tell me if theres a part where john bunyan feels like he lost his salvation and was tormented with the fear of hell? cuz thats what im going through, and i need to know how john got delivered from it, so someone please tell me if its in this video.
@trigger575707 Ask yourself this: if there is a God and he is a loving God who cares for his creation - why would he want to condemn them them to eternal suffering in hell? The truth is simple - there is no God, no heaven and no hell. This life is all there is. So make the most of it and stop wasting your precious time worrying about a fantasy.
@mikelheron20 wasnt trying to put u str8. i was athiest to once. but i dont have the ability to open yours eyes and make u believe, it is impossible. only god can do that.
@trigger575707 The existence of god is conjectural - the existence of psychiatrists is factual. I recommend you seek out the services of a good one. And that applies to everyone who shares your childish fantasies.
If we are wrong, we have nothing to lose, if right, we have everything to gain. How about you?
Our loving God gives us choice. If we chose to live without Him, he grants our wish...an eternity in darkness separated from God. In love, He lets us go if that is our desire.

@mikelheron20 Seriously? Get off this video thread... I know you'd love to see some provocative response from people on here so you could give some witty reply and think you are intellectually superior in your non-belief - but go waste your time elsewhere. If "life is all there is" then why waste your precious seconds antagonizing Christians? Go away.
@LettheNationsBeGlad I think I'll take up angling. Pitting my wits against a fish is a lot more intellectually challenging than engaging with people like you.
Now I was wondering- I remembered seeing this when I was much younger and thought I remembered seeing a part at the end where Christian's wife, Christiana and their children made the journey as well. Is there another part for this and are you familiar with it?
Hello! Thank you for posting this! Which version is it? Do you have the name of this particular edition? I am going to see if I can find it in Portuguese. Thanks again!
(The Choice) Jesus is your Savior, Lord & Master by choice or else the devil is your Master by default!
