  • Hey man. You got any tabs or can you write some tabs? I would love to learn this solo as well.

  • good job!!

  • awsome man awsome...

  • boa

  • @bluewaterkuster great job mate! how many years did it took to be so good?

  • Nailed or Failed ?

    NAILED !

    =)

  • that last bend should be done higher up on the fretboard and it won't be so hard to catch that last note. Most of the time the licks aren't as hard as they sound.

Usually the easiest way to do it is the correct way, as long as it sounds like the original recording that is.

  • That was pretty cool.

  • I'm teaching myself this but I gotta learn to properly hammer-on, fret-tap and pick the strings all in sync first. Great job, man :D

  • Nicely done!

  • Well done! I like that you kept your position around the ninth and twelfth fret. I see guys play this solo jumping all over place.

  • can u give me the tabs please

  • I bid you, a well done =)

  • fine job bro. i find it kinda dickish when people correct other people when they admit they can't even play what there correcting them on lol kinda funny..... rock on

  • The original solo its GREAT, AWESOME,... ur job its excelent..

    congrats Man.

  • well done

  • No offense (really), but you're just slightly out of tune (a little flat). But nice job otherwise.

This is one of my fave guitar solos of all time. It's not virtuosic in terms of complexity, but the choice of notes is just killer.

For anyone who cares, the original solo on the record was played by Jimmy Lyon, the guitarist on Eddie Money's first two solo records. He really caught lightning in a bottle with this solo.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Yup, a little flat. I just put these videos up on myspace so I can refresh my memory if I need to. Not trying to be flawless.

  • No worries. Just wanted to let you know in case you hadn't realized it. When I get time, I wanna learn this solo and your video here will undoubtedly help. Thanks again for posting.

  • actually, he might be in tune, but the song is sharp (from standard 440 tuning). otherwise your right. my band played that song last night at the lighthouse in alexandria, indiana and i sang lead, and im not a singer. they said i sounded better than eddie himself, recently that is. anyway, good job

  • wish my fingers were that fluent!

    Great Job!

  • GOOD JOB DUDE

  • You're good man!

  • eddie money's ticket to pardise has the sweetest guitar lead ever known to man!
