  • This was actually the first Day at Sea for the Tiger Cruise 2010. In addition to the 5,000 or so Sailors, there were also about 2,000 civilians on the ship too.

  • Washington State was the first stop on American soil since it's departure from San Diego, California in August 2009, this is the return trip back to San Diego, after a successful deployment to the Persian Gulf and many countries in between. Nimitz arrived back safely to her Home port this morning, March 26th.
