Try setting beginning & end frames in solver panel. 0-50, 25-50 or whatever. If it solves, then uncheck beginning and end, set solving mode to "refine" and hit "solve" button.
@happyfoxproductions Lol! You are asking a question like this when you have a $10000 worth of software in Boujou. Something tells me you use piratebay..
I filmed a simpel sequence with 12 trackers on my face. the tracking seemed to be ok but after solving and refining.. there is allot of vibrating bounce on the trackers.. especially at the points (on the blue line) where i hardly move my head?!! i spend many hours doing all the things you showed. any tips? Mark

i am stuck at ur tutorial, at 4:55 , when going to the perspective view and going to lock camera, i have my video, but i don't have the green crosses (trackers), i can't select them by pressing CTRL+A, did i forget anything?
@w0to right click and turn them on in the "view" dropdown, if that does not work, go to ur solve panel and increase/decrease the "world size" or rightclick and turn your active mode to navigate or edit mesh, depends on what you want to do.
2 questions. 1 - Did you pay for all of your applications, or did you just get the torrents for them? 2 - When I click "go" for the solve, it says this -- "Can't locate any satisfactory initial frames" what do I do?
ok I have a problem, after I solve.its not the object that is moving along the path but it is the camera.I tried disabling the camera and then solve but it doesnt work. in your video its the trackers that are moving along the path and not the camera but in my case its the camera can you help me?
@dasnico13 ok i didnt see the beginning of your video because i thaught it would be straight forword tracking the trackers. I saw you disabled the camera before adding the features. i will try that.
THe statisfactory initial frame/s is/are the frames syntheyes looks for the 3D structure.
I told you how to solve that problem: Chekc begin and end frame boxes. and type in the numbers where you got best track results. Than you'll get a nice track and 3D structure,.
Just one nice friendly note: finetuning makes sense only for autotracks created using blips as far as I now, which is not case of your tracked markers. I didn't watch it all but it's looks a good tutorial, hope there are not more mistakes :) Cheers! Peet
Well, I noticed, that something changed after finetuning the trackers.
1. Why should SynthEyes spend much time on finetuning nothing?
2. The trackers are in another position
3. The solve is different.
All in all target tracks are like automatic trackers. Automatic trackers are using the same settings. The different between Target and automatic is, that you have more controls using the target tracks.
Autotracking in SynthEyes works on blips linking base, it's different, fast, sometimes awesome, sometimes a little bit jittery. Finetuning converts autotracks (linked blips that were peeled to trackers) into usual trackers and retracks them using usual supervised tracking, based on settings in fine-tune dialog...
When you run this on your own tracks, it probably changes their settings to ones in dialog and retracks them, this is why it takes time and this is why they look different.
As sayed in part 1.1, I added these dots on my face. You can paint them or use glue and put black paper on your face... ^^ helps getting a better track and a better model.
Muchas gracias Amigo!!

Hi vfxworld
I get this error after pressing go! " Error constraint hasn't been set up " what to do ?
gagandhaliwal2007 6 months ago
@gagandhaliwal2007
You have to set up some contraints on trackers. If you haven't, just don't check the "constrain" box.

Would this work in boujou? I dont really want to buy another program.
happyfoxproductions 1 year ago
@happyfoxproductions yes, this works in any other tracking program.
vfxworld 1 year ago
@vfxworld No it doesnt
criso1994 4 months ago
@criso1994 yes it does. Just treat your object as a sticky one and get the cam move.
vfxworld 3 months ago
@vfxworld Boujou is designed for environment tracking so doesn't do as well as syntheyes with projects like this
criso1994 3 months ago
@criso1994 I never sayed it does well. But it is possible and there are people using boujou for these type of projects.

LightningFireFilms 1 year ago
@LightningFireFilms first: bought them
second: all explained in the tutorial. Don't deactivate the Annotations!
anyway, just check the begin and start checkbox and be sure to set the satisfactory initial frames yourself.
vfxworld 1 year ago
@LightningFireFilms I believe it's called piracy or to be more exact cracked version's torrents are actually legal
and even if he used cracked version i doubt that he would tell us.

how to solve this problem(Object 01:Cant locate satisfactory initial frames)
drcrazyfoxvip 1 year ago
@drcrazyfoxvip in the solve panel check the begin and end frame boxes and type in the start and the end frame of your sequence.
You can also pick the frames with best tracks as satisfactory initial frames.

As I say in my tutorial:
"Any problems?
Check Begin and End box
Type in the Begin Frame and End frame number"
(begin frame most times 0 ^^ End frame: The end frame of ur video.)
