  • This is great. I brew my own beer. All grades and my favorite food is hot dogs.

  • @homebrewer7 Who can argue with hot dogs and beer?

  • Mmmmmm. Be better with my own home brewed beer..

  • Weiners without cure is scary even if fresh, beer looks great

  • @loggerlance Yeah, you have to eat them quick but they taste fine. The beer was decent and went well with the food on a hot day.

  • @VideoBeerReviews That was what I had on my 21st...But the beer I had was Coors Light...I had hot dogs though and it was pretty good

  • what's the brand name of those hot dogs? ARe they available nationwide?

  • @Chad9976 I don't know the brand but you should be able to find uncured hot dogs at your local market. They are a slightly healthier alternative to regular hot dogs but need to be eaten very soon after opening the package.

  • Nice review, AWESOME glass.

  • @nmarshall21 Thanks. The glass is a classic one, especially if you are a Cubs fan.

  • I would have put some kraut on those dogs and had them knife and fork style without the bun. Washed back with a Warsteiner lager or 10

  • @khunopie That's definitely a good way to have hot dogs as well, especially with beer!

  • @RachelFuryRocks On a hot day not much is better than hot dogs and a cold beer. This beer is a lot better than the typical mass produced beer. Have a good weekend!

  • I enjoy your vids, but I've never seen you review a beer/food combo that doesn't go together well (in your opinion).

Maybe due to your good taste?

    Best wishes

  • @Tommyrazzle Yeah, you are correct. I almost never have a "bad" beer/food combo. The fact is most beer goes fairly well with many types of food. I think it's also due to the fact that I'm pretty good at matching things up and I also don't intentionally try to mismatch things. After all, I do have to eat and drink what I match!

Maybe I will do a bad pairing (like a Stout and Sashimi) just to see how bad it can get!

    Thanks for watching!

  • Orlando Brewing has the same type...the Blonde Ale, it is a good summer ale. I wish they had the hotdogs at the brewery thou...haha

  • @dechm4af I think many brewers now make some kind of "Summer" beer. I love dark/strong beers but sometimes a lighter flavored beer is perfect, especially on a hot day.
