Wow, it was already 6 months ago since we talked about BB4W! I was looking around at other non-commercial games and I think Crystal Hunter 2 can hold its head high. It's got a really lovely 80's retro vibe to the gameplay, and the music, sound effects and bubbles are really mellowing and hypnotic :-) Nice work, I must play it all the way through soon.

I quite enjoyed making this game, and I wish I had the time (and energy) to make a Crystal Hunter 3 (which I had intended to do); perhaps a smaller and more varied game that's easier and quicker to complete. This game was 'inspired' by an old Acorn Archimedes game called AntiGrav (by Robin Jubber), which in turn must have been inspired by the brilliant 8-bit BBC Micro game "Thrust" by Jeremy Smith (RIP).
