  • I think I remember you putting the flyer on the market before the mishap. Too bad it happened at all. But, good thing this happened to an experienced pilot. You are one of the good guys and I'm glad you are safe!

  • Did that cable slip out of the crimp(nico press)or did it break?

  • The nicopress fitting broke which allowed the cable end to release. There are still pictures of the failed fitting on my web site if you wish to see them.

  • Thanks!Ill check that out.The wires on my Quicksilver have 4 nico's per cable,2 on each end(2 per loop).

  • Great landing and piloting (to the extent that you could control the ppc). Probably some luck tossed in there as well.
