most people associate insecticide with killing, elimination of the pest,,,

while i've used this type recipe,,,,,,,, wouldn't you agree it's more of a deterrant,,,, ants etc will avoid these areas,,, more than being eliminated

it seems to be working pretty well and we used organic dish soap, no chemical detergents.

@stalinruled Well with home made pesticides you need to apply more often especially if you are watering a lot or if it rains. As far as rabbits I haven't seen any but I'm in atlanta and I live a couple of miles from the garden which is on my school's campus so I'm not there all the time . My thought is that anything with tastebuds isn't going to want that stuff in their mouth and breating it in is pretty aweful too. It's cheap to make give it a shot.

@stalinruled hey i been doing some new farm techniques i learned from homer @sunnysidefarms in p.a.<example} he had frogs in his greenhouse,,to eat the bugs@ night..if rabbits are the problem findout what rabbits hate or what hates rabbits,,pitbull maybe??

@dra314: Not necessarily. Soap is a natural product...it's a matter of how it is made that determines whether it is harmful (chemical) or not.
