@rebreh1029 If you don't know the potency of the mushrooms you are taking, then it is best to start with half a gram and work your way up depending on how much you feel it after 90 minutes. Usually about 2 grams is enough to "feel" it. Being experienced, I would take 3 dry grams or more at a time which is usually enough to establish contact with the divine.

@krystalwaters46 I don't know how many place they can be found in the United States growing wildly... The farms these days in the US I believe are required to put fungicides in the cow feed. Last thing they want is a buncha people grabbing them off of cow patties. If you know any farmers that do NOT use fungicides in their cow feed, then keep an eye out for little golden caps coming out of the cow pies 3-5 days after it has rained.

ok so i have plenty of cow patties at this place where i stay occasionally and I know ive seen the little brown shrooms with sort of a nipple on top. I think theyre liberty caps. Are all shrooms safe if they come off the patties?

@recklesswit2891 No. Make sure the stem turns blue a few minutes after you squeeze it. This is called bruising, and it is one of the main identifiers of psilocybin mushrooms found in the wild. Also, the cap should have a beautiful gold color.

@JEWHUNTER691 The best way to identify cubensis is by observing the "bruising" of the stem when touched. The oils in your fingers will cause the stems to change to blue in color.

@musicoutsidethebox I don't know about the Aussie ones but the one's i've found in America had a jet black spore print. I smudged it with dew off the mushroom and it looked more like a dark blue than purple. If the mushroom looks like this and spores are blue, black, or purple, it should be psilocybin active. The colors to watch for are white and rusty brown.
