@feliponbombom The tabs are on my website. I developed my finger stretch span by playing a lot of metallica solos. For that particular lick, you could transpose it to the higher frets, then work your way down. If it's physically too big of a stretch, dont worry. It's not really the most important technique to know :)

@SargentoAgat I used to practice a lot of scales (all the modes) and chromatic exercises, mostly exercises from john petrucci and michael angelo batio's dvds. Nowadays, I don't really drill myself on scales--I write a part, then practice it to a metronome starting slow and building speed

An acoustic guitar is generally harder to play since the strings are often thicker and there's no distortion to cover mistakes, but I think that you can learn on either. Nowadays, I switch between both, and my playing style stays the same on each
