Hi, is the seneca a twin engine? because i thought its a multi-engine a/c. And during landing, do you not need to flare much? I'll be having my first seneca flight tomorrow and im a little excited. xD
Cool video thanks for sharing! May I ask how much solo time you accumulate on the Oxford integrated course both in the Warrior (they do use the warrior, right?) and the Seneca? Also, do you practice any aerobatics and undergo spin training? Also, any luck on the job front? Best, Sheepgoat64
I'm a prospective OAA student, hoping to enrol in November this year. Just wondering what the OAA policy on taking videos is, and what equipment was used for this. It seems pretty good - one of the best quality on Youtube.
@guyjos I used an HD camera. Not an issue unless they changed the rules regarding cameras/photos. The Goodyear airport were very helpful and took me in a truck to a position next to the runway to do filming :-)
how hard is it to switch from a fixed pitch prop to a constant speed? I log all my time on a constant, but have very little experience with a constant ( no PIC) . so i was just wondering. also how much of the air crafts left turning tendency is reduced with you go from a single engine to a twin? thanks in advance great vid btw!
@AP264 it was a bit of a joke! it seems a little odd for a flight instructor to be wearing Captain's bars. if you're the PIC on an air taxi/commuter/airline operation then I feel Captain is appropriate. I'm a flight instructor myself and I don't think I could call myself a Captain or wear any bars.
@jeTROGIBBS I can try to explain. Headrests in cars are meant to rest your head, and help prevent whiplash if you're rear-ended. In an airplane you shouldn't really be resting your head, you should be using it. And if you get rear ended OR land really hard backward, a headrest would be moot.
well done mark on both your achievements and the work you do and effort you put in to helping others is extraordinary and you should be very proud. Good luck in the future

@UFOSPACE1999 but he is one of the few people in the world to earn an instrument rating. there's a reason pilots are paid so much money.
